Ta02 Carbon Chassis Kit

Hi All

Ive managed to get a rather hopped up ta02, It seems to be all alluminium and it has a flat chassis, (which I dont think is a tamiya one) the one thing its missing is the tamiya ta02 FRP chassis kit, I notice that there is a carbon one etc

Whats needed and where can I get one of these nowadays?

The FRP chassis kit is a rather rare Hop-up option nowdays. Ebay or Tamiyaclub is the best way to find one but there expensive. You can also buy the Carbon chassis plates and buy the plastic parts and screw bags that come with the FRP kit. The plastic parts can be found on ebay sometimes. There is an option to ask your Local Hobby Shop is the screw bags can be ordered at your Tamiya importer. This worked out fine for a friend of mine.

These are all the Tamiya part numbers that are included in Hop up option 53166:

4025040 - Lower deck (FRP)

4025041 - Upper deck (FRP)

0005512 - D parts (D1 - D7)

0115177 - J parts (J1 - J15)*

9406055 - Tool bag*

9406057 - Metal parts bag

9465479 - Screw bag*

The parts noted with * are a must have to combine with carbon chassis plates to fully fit on your TA02 chassis.
