Hi i live in Gloucestershire, and i was just wondering if anyone else does? me and my boyfriend are always taking out the madbull and soon i will have a gravel hound 100% finished so, anyone who likes off roading and fancies a small meet, get in touch!

We have Somerset meets as often as we can get enough people together. It seems there aren't many of us in the Westcountry so we have quite a wide area for our meets.

We're trying to plan a small meet on 7th October in Ham Hill in Yeovil - there is a thread on this very page, have a look and see if you can make it. It's a great location for off-road running with very smooth short grass for buggies, some great natural jumps, some lovely steep hills for crawling and blasting, tarmac strips for drifting and very tight m-chassis racing, and plenty of parking (as long as it's not in the summer holidays :D )

Recorded earlier this year when a few of us turned up for a blast :D

If you know of somewhere good on Glos / Wilts to go then by all means call a meet and myself and I'm sure some other Somerset members will try to come along if we can :o

Looking at the terrain on that vid you sent me the link of, that site looks a lot better! Me and the hubby go round this huge dirt track which belongs to a local farmer at the back of my house, there are loads of fields to play about it but no natural jumps. Ideal for buggy racing but thats about it! Though before the 7th i think i would have to put new motors in my buggies as 540's won't be a fun! Its the day after my 20th birthday and we would have the mini charleas so to speak with us too so it is def a possibility! Such a shame not many people down this way that call meets but nevermind! Being a newbie too, i think i could learn a lot from it!

Only prob me and the mister don't drive so we would have to see about trains etc! god i really wish i'd learnt to drive sometimes!

Trains would probably be awkward, Ham Hill is pretty much in the middle of nowhere. However I live just outside of Bath, if the meet definately goes ahead on the 7th then you're welcome to a lift from Bath Spa station to Ham Hill - but I probably only have space in the car for 2 people plus bags and gear. We usually get to Ham Hill around 11ish so if you arrived in Bath before 10am that would give us enough time :D

I am up in Worcestershire - Pershore to be precise and could be up for a meet some time in this area, tho i am busy on the 7th with the wrexham meet.

are there any plans for another time?

Cheers Ryck

I know Pershore! there aren't at the moment i don't think, everyone is quite spread out in this area which makes it quite hard! Doesn't mean we can't organise one though, if there is enough interest.
