Where Would I Find...

Recommended Posts

1. Tamiya Madbull suspension, front and back which has toughter springs on it so i can use it to jump without snapping the damper connections off like i have just done. The standard fit ones aren't too great! If you could post a link i would be most obliged!

2. A shop which sells custom decal sets to make my cars look a bit more unique! If there is such a thing of course.

3. How do i post my videos onto my subscribed account? i have tried uploading from my computer it didn't work. I have tried uploading it to photobucket and youtube but it says the format isn't supported! what do you do?

Get some Tamiya CVA Long dampers, they're oil filled and provide much better damping than the stock friction things

Can't help on the other 2 questions, sorry, someone soon will though

For decals type "7 year vinyl" into ebay search- People advertising make them up and i've used them for my boats. Vinyl is a bit thicker than normal "decals" but great for adding large bits of colour

you are referring to signwriter's selfadhesive vinyl - it doesn't necessarily have to be "7 year" :D

It can be computer-cut on a plotter (some still say "diecut") to any shape you want but

it works best with simpler designs eg mono colours.

Anything more complex is best printed onto vinyl.

Here, dressed up this Civic today:-

Cut-vinyl is cheaper process than printing but what you save on materials you expend more in time,

especially for "weeding" out the cut/unwanted bits... take the white side logo on this shell here for example,

it can be both cut or printed for same end result.

All boils down to what you're after - only limited by your imagination. :)
