58305 Tt-01 Recomended Upgrades

well finally ordered some upgrade bits for my tt-01, got the gpm ali motor mount, tamiya ali prop shaft, tamiya 22/23t pinion set and the tamiya 55/58t spur gear set. so im going to be running with a 23/58 gear ratio, and a 15 turn double motor. hope this will be good.

I ordered the 55/58t Spur set and 22/23t pinion set today. I will probably run at 58/23.

Next on my list are the ball diff set. Maybe a one way in front ball in rear, i hear conflicting information on either setup so I am a bit tied on which to buy.

The dif setup of 1way and bal dif works for racing. The stuff u bought wil work well. Later a carbon brace would be good as it reduces chasis flex.

thanks guys for all your advice, will upgrade a few extra bits like oil shocks, it will not get used alot but hoping to have a bit more fun on next onraoad meet, might go for a ta05 next with maybe a mild brushless setup. will post some photo's as soon as i get some taken.

good idea.

brushless is really nice to have, no maintanence and something like a ta05ms is awesome, because it comes with so many hopups. buy one now!!

Have a check on http://www.drccentral.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=46 there's a dedicated section to the TT-01 Chassis loads of info ( Yes i know Tamiyaclub.com is the best ) Mostly Drifting Stuff but loads of posts on General hop ups that are worth while!
