Well I'm finally building up the truck to compete here in Las Vegas with the boyz from sincityrcrc.com. You gotta be 18 to join that rc site, it's made for adults so please don't go on if you aren't old enough. Anyways I went out with a guy called dieselfuel and his bro to Bootleg Canyon in Boulder City Nevada. It was awesome. Sun shining and rocks rocking. How sweet is that? Here is the build up of my rig so far.

Twinset 2.2 chassis

Locked tlt axles

Pede tranny

Jugg shocks

Just bought a hitech 5645 digital servo, those numbers might be wrong but you get the idea

Mtroniks rv15

55 turn lathe motor

Moab 2.2's with stock foam for the moment

RC4WD alloy wheels that are beadlocks

Diesel has my truck and is making the links shorter and putting springs inside the shocks too.

I used one of the locally made trucks called a Blackjack. It was so wicked on the rocks, it was like a worm that would go anywhere.

Well I fell in love with the crawling and can't wait for all my gear to get here. Does me no good to use a radio I won't keep. Plus all my batts are in the shipment also. BOO!!!

Anyway, enough talk, where's the pics?

Looks nice!

Could explain what the plastic fuel tube over the servo is for please?

The batteries are mounted accross top links and sit on top of servo, the fuel tube holds batteries in place but still allows flex in suspension.

I'm going to do some crawling soon and sort out the battery location. Not too sure if I want the small cells or large ones. I think a 7 cell pack is what I will be using once I get my stuff sorted.

Well back from it's first day out. The height is a bit too high so it would roll over but it did some good crawling. Bad thing is I broke my link on one side and the dogbone on in the stock tlt axle.

You wanna get it set up properly fella, the LV gravity must be different to the UK

Dogbone snappage is nothing to do with the chassis, read the disclaimer on page 83 of the warranty synopsis :)

For those who don't have a copy of the warrenty it states" He who drives this rig with bone stock TLT stuff will break it very quickly and the Twinset corp. isn't held responsible for your crappy truck."

Well ran another comp and the rig is still too high. I'm going to have to start cutting the links to keep my in the 12.5 class and lower it with droop.

Also I just bought a esc/motor combo from Holmes Hobbies and he's having a sale at $10 off anything over $75. So if you want a Castle Sidewinder esc you can get it for $65 bucks. How do you like them apples? Oh the system I got is a Quark 33 and a Holmes Hobbies Crawlmaster Sport. Going to be upgrading my rig to a higher powered battery pack, 8 cells soon to follow.
