Blazing Blazer.....finally....

Recommended Posts

Morning all,

It's been 25 years but finally a boy hood dream has come true. I have managed to get a Blazing Blazer into my collection. Having completed a deal on Tamiyaclub the Blazer offered by Misterclyde will shortly be on its way.

This kit over no other holds some special memories for me. As a boy my brothers friend used to bring his round and i would watch it drive around the local park. I never had a go and never really touched it. Many hours were spent staring at them in the local Beatties but alas lack of money never brought one my way.

So here we are, another "Boxart" project will be underway. I am writing this 8000 miles from home so I even have to wait another month to see it.

It will be restored to as new for gentle running, so I will be after parts soon. Out of interest, I doubt that many 6V batteries are still good. What do you guys run for power?

Thats all for now, grin from ear to ear....

Adam

I run a regular 2000 nicad stick pack in mine with a foam block to keep it from flopping around in the box. Stock motor, and duratrax esc it runs for 1/2 hour

Lucky you!!

I want a Blazer but just can't justify the cost

Pure luck really that the money was there when a good one came up. My wife must take some credit for sorting things out for me.

Billg4. Do you have the ESC outside the radio box or in it?

Thanks
