Bigger Wheels For F-350?

I am really looking in to getting a F-350 or Hilux, probably the Hilux because I missed out on the original Mounty. My question is what kind of "bigger wheels" can you put on these rigs. They look horrible, (alright maybe not horrible but you know what I mean) with the small wheels. With bigger ones they will make their older brothers proud. SO who has pics or ideas?

I've got 2.2's on my F350, just check the showrooms for pic's.

Yep, 2.2 size wheels will be what you need. Any 2.2 wheel with a 12mm hex fit will work. There are loads of different 2.2 wheels available, from cheaper plastic ones to machined aluminum bead lock wheels. 2.2 tires are made by near enough every rc manufacturer so there is loads of choice.

My high lift has thunder tiger 2.2 rims with hpi geolander tires:

The high lift requires a body or axle lift (or both) for 2.2 wheels to clear the shell properly and to look "right" on bigger wheels. My truck is lifted 25 mm higher than stock - 10 mm axle lift and 15 mm body lift - you can see my showroom for info on that.

The Hilux high lift shell is already about 15 mm higher than standard so 2.2's will fit perfect underneath straight away.

There is no need to change the pinion for the larger wheels either so its easy to convert a stock high lift into a proper one
