I just snaffled this off Ebay but I don't *actually* know what it is

It was very lonely & no one had bid so I took pity on it

I think it's a Baja King but the paint isn't quite right, any help appreciated.

It could be a tl01 buggy with a different colour sceme or it could be a cheap tl01 copy there used to be someone on ebay selling chinese copys of tl01 buggys with cheap esc's and stock motors for 60 pounds. please post some more pics when you get it.

The text on the rear wing reads "Expert Edition" if that's any help.

It's a generic cheap chinese clone of the Baja champ made by Acme Racing. It is sold in the UK as a Max4 http://www.nitrotek.co.uk/9HP-6528.htm or as a Max Extreme http://www.tamiyaparts.co.uk/playtime/elec...eady-to-run.htm

Parts are interchangeable with Tamiyas TL01B cars.

Not bad for 20 inc batteries & radio.

It seems from TT's website it's quite respectable too.

I wasn't sure if I'd got a bargain or a complete lemon, it'll do for a basher that's for sure.
