1825173 Peugeot body

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone,

I jus saw in my local hobby-shop the body for the Peugeot 406ST (P# 1825173). I tried to find it on the net but it was hard to find. Luckely at Tamiya USA.com I found the part. Is it so rare? It's realy cheap EUR 20,-, should I consider buying it?

Thnx

Frits

It's rare because it's pretty old.

I doubt it is collectable or worth a lot on ebay.

If you like it, get it! 20 Euros is pretty cheap - although that part number sounds like bodyshell-only, without stickers, which is less appealing...

Here in Germany they were selling them in shops en masse for less then 10 EU [:0], guess Tamiya Europe overestimated their demand...

Interestingly most were sold in the original boxes of the whole car! [8D]

Carson probably used the chassis for something else?

Good idea, very possible, as Tamiya Europe is Dickie (i.e. Tamiya Germany => Carson)

Well, I bought it completely with stickers AND those cover stickers to leave the windows clear!!! Als included spoiler etc..

This shop must do their shopping in Germany because it was also sold in original 406 boxes!!

Reason I wanted to buy it is that I love the real Coupé version of the 406..

thx for the advise!
