Scorcher Or Other Vw Dummy Motor Help

I tried search, that netted a 2 yr old thread

So, has anyone ever made a lexan fake motor for a sand scorcher or sand rover buggy project?

I guess if I have to I can order a hpi bug body and rob that part and mod it but thought I should ask first

film canister? Wouldn't that be more for a *******le rotary?
