Rc Clubs In Yorkshire/pref South Yorkshire

Hi all was'nt quite sure where to put this topic, ive been looking for a radio controlled car club within a reasonable distance from my home town of rotherham, the wrexham meet did it for me, i liked being on a proper track weather it be on or off road. Im not going to get into racing but looking to become a member of a club so i can use the facilities and advice from the members. are there any members of the following clubs on here and can i become a member and race for fun at say the weekend's.

Batley model car club (not too far to travel)

Rotherham Touring Car Club (on my doorstep)

Do any others exist.

Tibshelf are looking for a new venue.

There is Halifax (bit of a jorney for you but a good track)

Wombwell[sp] race once a month,mainly ic but will race elecric if there are enough turn up.

Sherburn in Elmet for Mardave and Tamiya M chassis every other week(saturday nights).

Garforth 1/10 electric touring cars once a fortnight(saturday nights).

Start your own thing up or ask your local shops for where and when ect.

There is also Doncaster touring car club, runs every other friday night 6 till 10 and also a club at Don Valley Stadium in Sheffield.

Yeh thanks for the info guys, i already meet up once or twice a month with some guys at clumber park , you can find us at www.clumbermeets.co.uk there a good bunch and i enjoy it, was looking for another venue where we can run (just for fun) our vintage and modern buggies, also we have a few nitro runners too.
