Hey guys, sorry but I just have to vent. Do people want to spend too much money on stuff? Why the heck would you want to drive up the price of an auction when it started. I was thinking about a NIB Vanquish that went up last night. It is now 150!!! Why the heck dont people wait until a few days so that a car's price is not inflated? Am I missing something? If I am feel free to flame the heck out of me, but I just dont understand.

It's an auction so i guess that's what happens. I strongly believe the only way to get an ebay bargin now is if the seller has listed it in the wrong catagory, spelted it rong, or there are no pictures (lucky dip so to speak!)

Agreed. The Vanquish will sell for what it's worth weather people drive the price up in the beginning or not. The noob's early bidding almost never reaches the actual value of a product like this anyways. The kit didn't sell twice in a row with a buy-it-now of $550. So your pretty much assured it won't sell for more than that. I just can't see it going for much less either. In the end, it's the snipers that are ready to drop the real cash and set the final price. There are a lot more snipers nowadays as well. I wouldn't be looking for an amazing deal with some sort of bad listing details...

Often i've noticed that stuff goes for more in an auction than it available buy it nows. Confusing but i just think that people get caught up in the excitement of bidding rather than buying!

My two pence.
