yannick 0 Posted December 8, 2004 yeah, heard about that... but I actually don't like it that they (re-)release all the cool bodies like 190 amg, m3, ...and all other new bodies on the TT01 chassis. is the TT01 really so popular then?

ideal2k 3 Posted December 8, 2004 Well I've got a TT01 runner, and really it's ok - the most serious issue I have with it is the plastic driveshafts are totally worthless and could just as well be thrown in the trash - they really are THAT useless.. any sort of remotely powerful motor, and the drive pins will come out of the shafts - leaving you with a bare bone and no drive pin through the end. Luckily alu dogbones were only $20 including shipping from Japan.
Tamiyamandan 0 Posted December 8, 2004 Well I am glad for the re-releases...Not so much for the chassis but for the bodies.....The original Mercedes and BMW are so expensive...but can now get a nice model of them for only around $100 each....But I hope that the more vintage R-Releases keep the vintage chassis....just my 2 cents... Jamesmcc 0 Posted December 8, 2004 Hey Sefan, does the TT01 really hop-up that well? Can you make those suckers fly?

I also think you really should get some ball bearings.
BiggusDitchus 38 Posted December 9, 2004 The TT01 is stunning for the price, race my mildly hopped up one and keep up with more expensive machinery. pity bout the shell [:I]
Jamesmcc 0 Posted December 9, 2004 Yeah, I always figured the ball bearings are a no brainer, but I was wondering if the car actually handles well or is it out of control when mildly hopped-up.
ideal2k 3 Posted December 9, 2004 No it actually handles quite well, surprisingly enough []
