The Nasa boys built a mock up terrain like Mars so the operator can practice.

Wonder would it be the most expensive RC to date or those un manned air craft currently use in Iraq.

I wonder if the radio is AM or FM and what happens if someone is using the same frequence; what hop ups were added, which chassis was used ? Just a small thought

Didn't u know, Nasa has a tracter beam aimed at Mars and flick of a switch Mars will be drawn towards earth and the space shuttle will retreive it.

What better way to spend a Sat. afternoon writing non-sense

Hmm.. Perhaps it'll be shallow enough in the Bay during 'Low Tide' for me to walk out and retrieve the Fishing gear I lost when the boat capsized.

If Atlantis is in the Gulf of Mexico it will be called the lost city of Mexico. I think you just lost your fiver since is some where in the Atlantic hence called Atlantis. (Any grade 2 kid would know and I went all the way grade to grade 6 after 15 years and I was the oldes,t graduating student. Funny some of my class mates parents thought I was the teacher, how dumb.)

On a serious note... is interesting how the mars rover had design to withstand the extreme in temperature, max. the battery life (even have to park it so the solar panel is facing the sun to max. the charge and it went way past it design life and Nasa got it money's worth. Only, if I can recalled how much money was spend on the project. (I would guess, the same amt of $ can buy every NIB from Tamiya x 4, 1 as NIB, 1 as shelf queen, 1 as runner and 1 for spare parts and with money left over to buy an Enzo at 1:1. Nasa does not do things the cheap way, is your tax dollars)
