any idea's for a nubee for setting up a TB evo4 ?????

gonna be running on carpet mostly with rubber tyre's or foam using a 19 turn motor

If your going to a club, start with the Tamiya standard set up as manual.

Then ask the other club members what they advise if that is not working for you, as it depends on the track style and grip of the carpet and they can vary quite a lot from track to track layout.

Local knowledge and your own driving style combined will make the differences in set up pay off.

The one cardinal rule is one alteration at a time sos not to confuse the advantages disadvantages.

Diff oil is for the bevel gear diffs in 1/8th scale rallycross buggies. For the ball diff in the rear only use silicone grease designed for ball diffs, any other lubricants on the diff balls and washers will just cause it to slip and will ruin the parts.

As advised above just set it up according to the manual to give you a good base setup. See what tyres are being run at your club, certain tyre combinations work best on certain tracks and many clubs run to strict rules on what tyres are allowed.
