I won an unused Tamiya Stadium Blitzer on Ebay. No one else bid so not sure if I bid too much. It cost me with postage £130.

Unused car, bearings all round, 3racing adjustable shocks, CVDs, Turnigy ESC and 9T motor, some servo of unknown make, a 4000mah Lipo and a 2.4Ghz reciever. And a bag of other bits and bobs.

Well compared to walking into a model shop you got everything not in the Tamiya box for free at the price you paid - Turnigy ESc and motor would be around £40 from Hobbyking, add £15 for the lipo, £5 for the receiver (if its a Hobbyking one). CVDs and shocks got to be around £20.

All in you got £70 of extras, £50 of which you'd need anyway for no extra - good deal to my eyes.

Today postie brought me....

... so went to the LHS at lunchtime for some buggy wheels n foams to complete my Duratrax Evader rebuild (putting it back as a buggy, not the truggy it arrived as).

I finally found my "ELEANOR" , and the postie dropped it off for me. I'm as happy as a pig in ....!

Very happy overall with the condition of it, may need a little bit of work, and is destined for the shelf, alongside my other beauty....The Fox

I got a Carisma Ford Focus WRC 2006 body shell painted up in the BP sponsorship colours.

It looks great, I just need to make the post holes then decide what chassis to run it on, TA01, 02, 03, TB01 or my RS4 Rally.

I just need the 02 and 03 Focus shells now and I will have them all.

Saturday saw a mtroniks sport auto esc and 48dp pinion gear arrive from Fusion.

Also saw a torn envelope arrive, minus the 48dp spur gear that was supposed to be in it from ebay seller - as yet no response from the seller.

This week will hopefully see arrival of King Cab, TG10 chassis, Falcon rolling chassis and another unknown which i think may be a Striker but at £2.20 it hardly matters what it is

Hotshot turned up , with super shot shock set , aloy wheels , & some spears .

Will put the shock set on my runner boomerang , as well as the aloy wheels .

& will fix the hotshot up .

Looks now like what i thought may be a Striker is indeed a Super Sabre QD - oh well !

replacement spur gear on its way too, so all should be good by the weekend

it WAS a Falcon at one time in its life..

- it obviously took one flight too many in the past...

.. broken lower wishbones F3 and F4 at inboard mounting screw

.. chassis held together with alu plate

.. bumper very badly scuffed

.. D1 smashed to pieces but amazingly the R parts are fine !!

.. rear wheel drive adaptor C8 broken

.. rear yellow cage a bit scuffed in places.

Overall my usual standard of buy lol !

At least the R parts and the shocks look okay, the rest looks knackered.

A bit late but yesterday I got four pairs of 50808 TG10 wide axles, four to go on my Wild Dagger Crawler with the thicker hexes, and four to go on my Thundershot as the wheels I currently have fitted on it don't really leave enough thread for the Nylock on the nuts to grip.

Ok, today was a good day..

...this arrived at the office..

these arrived at home in a small box from Hong Kong..

2 x Hobbywing 45A ESCs

2 x EZRun 9T brushless motors

4x Hobbyking 2.4GHz receivers

pack of gold plated connectors for the EZ Runs

and this also arrived at home...

with the added bonus of a shell that wasn't mentioned in the ebay description..

Overall not a bad day
