New basher wheels and tyres:

Seen from the side:

The red matches the red metallic Aero Avante really well.

These are some cheap Chinese knock offs. I thought the rims were going to be bigger than the standard DF-02 rims, but they look like direct copies instead. Didn't expect that.

Seen in the picture, the new red and silver rims look larger, but this is probably due to the tires being larger. I've measured rim to rim.

From Ebay, today I received a plastic cut and inscribed Mountaineer stand. Has gold and silver lettering, really well done.

Excellent work, just finishing up the Mountaineer (ie: repainting roof) to put up on top !

What brand are those seats?

What's the quality of those Team Raffee parts too? Waiting on delivery of some wheels myself as it happens.

Turned up with this beauty yesterday!

Amazing kit to build, 100 bearings says it all. Recommend getting metal tensioners, and if you are feeling spendy, you could fork out for the idler arms too. Enjoy.

Thanks :)

I have the upgraded bearings and think I may buy the metal road wheel arms.

I'll look at the tensioner and idler arms.

Those new 'black' lock nuts are very good and have a very tough finish when compared to the older matte black ones.

Dorvack.

I bought them because they were cheaper for more, I was wondering what the differences were to the regular ones!

One original vintage XR311 chassis in almost new condition and no signs of usage! This is an impulse purchase so i am not sure what i will do with it yet. Either a full restore, trade or sell it off again :)
