£54 mate. Just a standard set up. I will put metal bearings in it when I assemble it. Hopefully won’t take long as half done lol. Be interesting to see how it differs from tt01. I really want a ta02 or ta03 rolling chassis

And with a Pumpkin for size reference. I actually expected the box to be even bigger...

Wow! That's the first I've heard they have a larger size. I have 2 of the original boxes and I'm already starting to get short on space for both storage and charging. I think this larger one can be just for storage while the original size is for charging.

Did you get the longer cables? How are you planning to use this?

Delivery from Modelsport - I finally gave in and shelled out for a Core RC 4000Mah 2s Lipo.

Since I got my Lamborghini Countach I have fallen for these obnoxious sport cars big time... they are jsut so outlandish and in your face.... I now find myself wanting the expensive 1:1 supercars.... so here's a Porsche from HPI. The decal sheet was a bit scrunched up and then the window masks left residue when removed... other than that it's a great shell.

Primarily itˋs for storage. I only have two lipoˋs for cars and charge them in a safe enough manner already. But I´ve got lots of batteries from various gadgets that I´ve been storing in ammo boxes for now and would like to feel safer about around the house. Maybe I´ll get the regular sized one for charging later. Didn´t get the extension cables for now, but kinda regretting that.

I thought i really liked Lamborghini's until the other day when a Superlego convertible thingy went past me as i walking to the supermarket, bright blue ,fag packet sized number plate, big noisy exhaust, just looked daft👎 maybe Newark isnt the right place for super cars but behind it was a mk2 Astra GTE 👌.

Funny you mention the Diablo, I was thinking that would be Jason's route to a 1:1 Lambo. They were/are a pig of a thing and good value, if you just want a ridiculous supercar. A mate bought one about 10 years ago, sold it pretty quick, it was a glorified drag car and couldn't go around corners. First world problems...

No if I was lucky enough to get any proper sports car I’d tone it down to a drivable Porsche of some sort... the HPI one Im doing now for my TT01 is absolutely gorgeous... never really noticed them before... but atleast I own one now ;)

They were some quality Nova’s you had... I managed to get the Nova SR and put a Peco Big Bore exhaust on.. back then it was much harder sourcing things (mail order Demon Tweeks) and then again finding somewhere local to fit them ( I got laughed out of KwikFit on numerous times with my exhaust and drilled/groove brake disks requests lol)

I once got to Drive a friends Red E Reg XR2 ( 1.6 wow!) with a view to buying it off him, but the insurance was too much back then, similar as now actually!

Got to love a Peco Big Bore exhaust!! They generally lasted longer than my cars

Bills 😞 and still no goodies.

Kids DT03 remains in bits 😤

Well after being annoyed yesterday I get a knock on the door today off my neighbour.

Out of two houses the postman got it wrong 🙄. Neighbour been away all week so who knows when it dropped through his letter box.

Trouble is I’m back at work now so the DT03 shall remain in bits for a bit longer.

I have it agreed that once the mortgage is gone then whatever car is going in the garage and the plan was a 911. Problem is they have tripled in price since then so even with permissiom I don't think I could bring myself to buy one. I want a 993 which now cost more than a current one a few years old. So probably a Lancer Evolution III, with a budget for appropriate mods...are 1:1 mods still called hopups?

Yeah the lifetime warranty offered on those exhausts eh? They know the car will die or we will grow out of that silly phase before ever needing it ;)

Wait till you see my HPI Porsche shell I’m finishing up now.. chrome lightbuckets and colour coded spoiler in Spearmint green ;)

My boss drives the XF Sport version and the urgency from the throttle is scary... I’m pretty sure that Evo 8 is equally savage..... me,  I’m sticking with my family friendly ( high interior roofline) 1.7 litre jobbie  for now...   trouble is I don’t want to be an old fart who can’t handle a fast car.... conjures up images of Jonathan  in a decades time, scraping his Porsche’s alloys on every kerb he meets and narrowly missing inanimate objects ( and teenagers in rust buckets)  braking at the last minute.com/

I’m sure your wife hopes you grow out of these ideas when the time actually comes ;)
