Thanks to @Mokei Kagaku for a carefully packed pair of body shells and spares. My lad will be very pleased! Thank you!

A Hot-Wheels Honda City turbo.

Actually it wasn't the postman, I picked it up in the supermarket.  And it was yesterday.  And this isn't even my photo...

Nothing. Because I'm waiting for a delivery from Yodel that has been "out for delivery" since Tuesday which means the plumber or whoever's delivering it hasn't found enough time to deliver it outside of his day job yet.

I can honestly say they are the only company I have a problem with EVERY single delivery. Always late or they say they tried to deliver when they blatantly didn't or the package is half destroyed etc etc.

Decided I wanted something else to fiddle with, so the fleet has doubled in size with:

DF-02 Plasma Edge

s-l1600.jpg

Blitzer Beetle & spare shell

s-l1600.jpg

Monster Beetle

s-l1600.jpg

The Plasma Edge is now completely disassembled and all parts cleaned. It needs all shocks, esc and probably a motor.

The Blitzer is practically new and doesn't really need anything.

The Monster Beetle is going to use the spare shell from the Blitzer for now. It needs a rear suspension arm which is cracked at the screw mount, also the very front crossmember that the bumper screws in to is broken. Its now stripped awaiting cleaning and parts to re-assemble.

On order are the two parts for the Monster Beetle, bearing sets for both Beetles and 8 1150s for the Plasma Edge (this has bearings in the gearboxes, but brass bushes in the hubs). I need to order x2 ESCs, x1 motor and the shocks for the Plasma Edge.

I will eventually get a new shell for the Monster Beetle, but by the time you add all the bits up its about as expensive as I paid for the whole car.

A couple of mini voltmeters that I'm going to pop into the cabs of my scalers so I'll be able to check the battery's voltage at a glance and hopefully mean I shouldn't have to experience an esc hitting low voltage and the car grinding to a halt unexpectedly.

Last week: Supra is a used built example that I'll pinch the wing and mirrors off then sell on. Bagged body is an Evo V. The Escort body has been cut out (which I didn't spot in the listing) so will be built (probably as non box art).

goodies-8th-june-2018.jpg

This week: more lucky finds, two Jugg body sets (but only one sticker set, luckily already have another), Clio body, F40, Jag XJR, Mercedes C11 and 787B wheels,

Not today but this week these two turned up :)

A Bush Devil Chassis. It seems mostly complete but a few bits are missing that I'll pick up on eBay. No idea what I'll do with it.

Second is a Clodbuster Chassis. Plenty missing from this but it was cheap and it's somewhere to start :) I need to do some research on what bodies will fit it too.

I've only used Ali Express once before, but I recently placed 3 separate items in my basket from 3 different sellers in China and paid in one go, and 8 days later they all arrived together, in different envelopes from different parts of China, pretty pleased with this level of service!

Some alloy 1/10 touring car wheels

Next some Short Course tyres

Errrrrmaaaagheeeerd. Tidy looking DB01 I picked up on eBay is only a DB01R!

2018-06-25_08-56-03

Aeration shocks. Lots of blue bits. Really shouldn't have. DN01 has cost me a pile this month but put a cheeky late bid in and I won it. Going to learn from my dn01 and check the ball diffs before running. Haven't got a clue about belts. Really don't like the lack of windows on the body so something different will need purchasing and painting properly. Anyone wants a Baldre shell give me a shout!

Neon green body clips, spacers for my f103/104 and Muchmore sensor cable 90mm, the one coming with the motor was way to long.

Replacement speedo for the one I shorted whilst hungover... Should finally see how much more poke a 8.5t has against the 13.5 motor that was originally in the K2..

Some GPM bits for the GF01, front knuckles to replace broken parts and then front C-hubs and rear knuckles for...er....completeness. I can't remember if I ordered the C-Hubs in titanium as a colour contrast or whether the blue were out of stock but hopefully they'll look good.

One observation is that the blue of the rear knuckles is more similar to the lighter Tamiya hop-up blue whereas the front knuckles are a darker blue and are as per other GPM blue parts I've ordered.

I may have spent my bonus (or the bit I'm allowed to spend!)

But a conundrum, which to build first?

That’s a nice haul. I was going to get the black Porsche, even got the parts to  fix the wheelbase and then got distracted by something else - my XV-01!

I don’t know about first but I’d build the XV01 last. I fear that simpler chassis might not be so enjoyable in future...

I was ripped!

I paid £15 for the 3700 😂

Nosram was owned by LRP , and as that company is no more, shops are selling off their stock cheap without warranty.

Lrp or Nosram is no more?

I couldnt care for Nosram less same as for Carson.

But Lrp nit excisting no more would hurt me since I have a esc+ brushed motor combo from 1997 and works perfectly after 20years... my heart grew to it 😀
