The "Postman Brought Me" Thread

Recommended Posts

XR311 parts came today, a few Clod parts, a Mad Bull part, and a Junfac Tundra link kit. I finally decided to buy the XR311 parts. i lucked out, almost all of the body parts I was able to order from TamiyaUSA. The rest came from Tony's Tamiya parts (great place to order from).

I would have to post every day as just finished building my first car (Hornet yet to paint) and need everything!! Don't know why its taken me so long to buy one, I've been looking for a hobby to get stuck into at home for years - no idea why this didn't spring to mind after enviously watching my brother and his mates with theirs (original Bear Hawk, Grass Hopper and Hornet between them in the 80's) when i was like 9.

Today's delivery's are model scissors and set of steel rulers.

P.s. Hi all.

Cheating a bit, as it was delivered to me at the club (🙄🙈), but a Leopard 4370kv motor and Esc. Not sure what it's going to go into, but at £15 I couldn't refuse!!

Ha - this is fun, so I thought I'd share it with you...

Nerding on eBay recently (although I've seen these 'finger skateboards' before) I thought I'd give one a go for $7 (posted!) - turns out it comes in it's own little kit-box with a tool too (screwdriver on one end, hex wrench on the other!)

i-vPNr3S7-XL.jpg

I did have to drill out the screw holes in the trucks a bit, and countersink the deck to make it all go together neatly, but the result is great fun!

They even give you some spare dividers for the box, so you have another container for tiny hardware!

Louis is lovin' it!

And has started to customise it already!

A secondhand Futaba T2HR transmitter with an R202GF receiver. The transmitter has a few scuffs on it but I only really bought it for the receiver anyway and only paid £17.50 posted.

A Core RC rounded LiPo - my third. I now have enough batteries for each of the cars that I am taking to the West Bridgford 30th anniversary meet on Sunday.

Are they still racing at Cotgrave?

Might have a drive over, only 10 minutes away.

The postman brought me in record time in 6 days from rc mart china to the netherlands, parts for my MST-MTX-01 monstertruck, steel gears and steel center driveshafts and a castle 1410 3800kv sct motor.

Now I can finish the truck and drive it :)IMG_7187.thumb.JPG.dab54dddd2c656631a3324ca36c86847.JPG

Got my custom parts from fibrelyte, i hope they fit!!!

Not that it would be fibrelytes fault, cut to my drawings so any fitment issues fall squarely on my shoulders.

I know it's not Tamiyaclub but I 'm glad I could get these!

If you like scalers and crawlers I can seriously recommend the SBG YouTube channel.

Come to think of it - can I get Tamiyaclub stickers anywhere?

One week ago, my first ever Lunchbox arrived here. I love it so much, its perfect!

Feeling the  need to tinker, I just got a Blitzer Beetle, for some off road giggles, and unecessary modification :)
