I had a gift cerftificate to my LHS and walked out with a mildly used TT-02 Lancia Delta rally car.  It was the expert built version so the paint and decals are well done, and aside from a couple of cracks in the front bumper area its in good shape.

The pogo stick friction shocks have got to go though.

Postie brought me an ESS ONE+, When I got home I wasted no time chucking it in my Terminator Clod (as I was replacing one of the body posts at the time), haven't got my computer hooked up to play with the settings, but the default one is alright!

Would've posted a pic but I had to put it away before my 2yo boy got home from day care as he would have had a meltdown if he had have seen it ^_^

A few wheels and tyres....

I spotted an advert on the bay while looking for some NOS SandRover or Holiday buggy tyres for a resto. The seller mentioned he was clearing an old hobby store and had more than one set, so i asked how many.....30 sets! Seeing as they are getting scarce, It was rude not to buy them all really...:D

Wow, that's an excellent find - any plans to sell some on here?

Additionally, Tamico sent me this little lot:

Some nice hop ups to make my TRX-4 sport look a bit more scale and a Thunder Tiger Toyota Hilux that they had on offer last week for a very reasonable 100€. Anyone who watches Pintopower's inspiring videos might have an idea of what my next project will be.

A pair of super mini shocks for the front of my WW2 from HK.

I  already had a pair in my spares for the rear.

Never built a pair before so I am looking forward to it.

Nice full set of Yellow Mini CVA's turned up today for one of the ongoing WR02 projects.

Also the following body shell bought on eBay, which will be getting returned! I'm only posting this here so if anyone else sees this online in the future they know exactly what they are buying (especially as this was originally listed at over £60!).

Original listing here: VINTAGE RARE TAMIYA FIAT ABARTH 1000 TCR BERLINA CORSA BODYSHELL M01 M02 M03

And below is what actually turned up - Split, held together rivets & filler, missing the engine, all of windows cut out & horrendously painted on the outside. As they say buyer beware! :(

More of the good stuff!

goodies-28th-june-2019.jpg

The Escort body set I'm particularly pleased with. It went for quite a cheap price because it appeared to be missing the wing and mirrors, but it did have the original small tyres, a cockpit set, an additional "A" sticker sheet and the window masks.

When I got it, I found not only were the wing/mirrors present and correct but it also had another "A" sheet, a "B" sheet just missing the rear lights (which I have spares of) and a complete Pilot "B" sheet. To top it off, the box is in much better condition than it looked in the pics. Result! :D

Universals and Ripped Tires for my Monster Racer. I do not not know if I was quite lucky getting them for a "street" price.
