I spotted that TT-02R deal. Tempted as there are a few bodies I want to do and that would be a good chassis to wear one and its not a bad deal with all the hop ups. Problems is I don't really need it..

Nothing too fancy, just some staples that were priced too-good-to-pass-up :)

Paint as always, airbrush case, some upgrades for my current airbrush and new one - the strangely named Mr. Hobby "Procon Boy". GT2 wing and wheels, magnets and some more TT-02 Hop-ups including the brand new TRF Big Bore Dampers.

The Mr. Hobby packaging is very Tamiya-esque with the all-caps Helvetica Condensed font, rounded corners and clear plastic window to the box. Possibly not surprising given that the same OEM manufactures airbrushes for Mr Hobby and Tamiya (and Iwata).

This is impressive... packaging and transit time wise...

Just bought a bearing set for my cc01 and rear arms for my Hotshot from Stellamodels... only took less than 2 weeks to get here in the states...

Packaging was top notch...

Ha! I ordered one of them last week too!! And an RS Cosworth shell, which is going to get the blue / white rims above. Not sure which chassis though 🧐

I have been naughty and ordered a TT-02R from tamico.

My TA03F needs a shell, it might get this one or a Repsol cosworth. The Alfa one on the TL-01 is well battered and I'm in two minds on that one - I can't get the original sticker sheet any more, but can get the shell (when in stock) so I could just do it plain white or get a martini sticker sheet (not sure if tamiya decals are available, but I know MCI ones are, albeit it at £40! ).

My TL-1 is:

Martini version is

Would like to do a Lancia as well..

I do have a Merc AMG GT shell I got off ebay but it needs a TT01/2 under it because the TL-01 body posts are in a different place and I don't really want to make more holes in the body. My TT01E is already carrying the Subaru Impreza NBR shell..  I would just buy another cheap chassis off ebay, but prices are daft at the minute.

IMO the two above are not as nice as the works team effort in red, originally on the TA02 58128, plus the sticker set is only £23 from MCi Racing :D Combined with PS60 Mica Red (not available at the time this kit was) and you've got yourself a more accurate and very neat looking 155 without those weird front windows  - Are they even the same moulding?

Today I contemplated placing a £100 order with AsiaTees. I still haven't hit the big golden checkout button, but I'm seriously tempted. Somebody stop me!!!

No they aren't the same mould but I guess similar - look at the front window (Edit: rear wing, mirrors and windscreen wipers all different too, also the 58128 comes with clear windows and a driver, the other two don't). The real car had the same thing on the windows too

Campaigned in DTM and ITC apparently.

Is the 58128 body available ?

Big box from Time Tunnel Models with a pair of Mavericks inside.

A Strada DT and a Strada XT for my lads plus a couple if Absima receivers so they can use their existing transmitters instead of the ones bundled in the boxes.

@Mark_C and @ChrisRx718, I think all three are great. I have a soft spot for the 155s, I test drove a ‘Silverstone’ once, a step-up from my Fiat Uno!

The ‘94 plate 146 I ended up buying had a huge ‘etched glass effect’ Alfa badge sticker across the rear window! That was removed before it left the forecourt...

I love the late 90s super touring car era, loads of innovation, mega engines and aero, pro drivers and lots of battles. There are some good videos of the 155s on youtube, seems quite a few are used as hillclimb cars now.

@ChrisRx718 - for the escort, there was a guy selling cars on ebay with the same shell but he had copies of the factory RS2000 stickers and I saw another recently with factory like Mexico ones. Haven't managed ot track them down - I know the Mexico ones were bought because it said so in the ebay ad. Any ideas on a source ?

The real Martini and Bosch were 4wd unlike the red Alfa - fwd, 4wd chassis should have a 4wd body, but then I'm a bit funny like that 🙄

The Martini livery looks fantastic

The real red one is 4WD too. That body was most recently available in the TT-02 Jägermeister version and body set, discontinued now but you might get lucky.
