Surely an adjustable wing mount would have been more economical!!

I think it's a sop to the fact that they make you buy the pink wheels separately! Cheeky ******s.

2 cans each of TS13 clear and PS5 black from Modelsport and an M chassis Bushing set for the TA03 - more or less the same thing with a different name.  The bushings look the same as the type of thing that come packaged with servos, albeit in black instead of brass.  Will they be an improvement over the step screws?  I guess I'll find out.

A 3000 grit wet and dry sponge

DT03 black chassis parts.  These were hard to find, which is odd considering that the DT03 black special is on sale everywhere right now.

Another magazine.  Had a quick flick through - pictures of Sand Scorchers in action at national level

Schumacher mini dart tires in silver compound.  Bought out of curiosity and they're super soft.

And this poor old thing

I don't know why I bought it.  It all happened so fast.  I saw it with a lowish buy it now price and I couldn't help it.  I know the Hotshot 2 is the least special of the Hotshots, being little more than a Boomerang/Super Sabre with a fully enclosed chassis, but because they haven't been rereleased, they normally go for silly money on Ebay.  This one is gonna take some time and money, but I hope to have a fairly decent looking restoration one day.

Got my RC6GS ver2 straight from Radiolink. Considering it came all the way from China. 2.5 weeks turnaround time is not bad! I ordered it from their official store in Aliex.

And they sent me the v2 version.

Nice! I have the RC4GS and I should say it's much better than the Flysky GT3B. I also like the feel and the price is really cheap. Congrats on that!

I’ve gone and bought the wrong charging cable! Anyone got a link to the one I need? Battery has a Tamiya connector.

If you've bought the Deans connector cable then just get a deans to Tamiya adapter from eBay they are like £2.

This package arrived from Japan a full month before the scheduled delivery date :D I thought the tracking info had to be wrong when I got the update on my phone.

Packaged quite well all things considered, 4 full layers of tape and bubblewrap gave me quite the struggle.P7160191.thumb.JPG.86efff8bd4454e0e2a4e9a38ed6e22b0.JPG

But I won out eventually, and was well pleased with the result. Lo and behold, it's the real thing in 2020:

When I saw an Alloy Prop Shaft go into stock at RCMart I had to grab it, because they have been hard to find for a non ridiculous price, so added in a couple sets of wheels, and some hex’s and body posts for my 3 Racing M4 mini
