The "Postman Brought Me" Thread

Recommended Posts

Got 2 of 16 Orders today. Its Cables, charging board & XT60H Amass connectors to replace the not so safe Tamiya connectors. All in Very good Quality (12 awg silicon cable, very nice).

charging board save much time but Lipo batteries must first be discharged to same lvl before you can put them all on the board (up to 6), and ofcourse all must have same cell value (do not mix 3s with 4s to take one example)

Was happy to see that the 230mm wheelbase chassis kit (Porsche 934 Turbo RSR) that I ordered from Maxspeedparts was lying in my mailbox today, but that happiness didn't last for long..
Turns out he has sent me the 236mm wheelbase lower deck.

Lol,  got almost the same the other day,  a bag of Amass xth60 connectors, longer Tekin 12awg silicon cables, longer balancing cables and 5mm 15T pinion gear. Yeah the Amass are awesome , easy to solder and no shrink tube needed.

A few bits turned up today, notably some rare stabiliser sets for TA01 chassis cars, and some alloy wheels from the same era. I've added pics of the Cross parts to a listing in my showroom for anyone that wants to take a closer look: https://www.tamiyaclub.com/showroom_model.asp?id=16836&cid=136805&t=121202124412

David they look very interesting! Especially with the suspension arms.

Looking forward to seeing an assembled photo.

I wasn't planning on adding any hop ups to my DF-03 build beyond the DF-03 Aluminum Dampers that I already added, but that didn't last long...

I hope it is ok to use it for testing the temp of the motor! Infra red ones looked a bit pricey for that sole use.

The temperature range they can gauge is bonkers, used it for all sorts of random stuff

An Orange receiver to try with my Spektrum DX4, might save a few quid trying to put gear in all my cars. If it works I’ll buy a load more

took 7 days to get to the UK from HK over new year then 2 weeks to get to me.
