Maelstrom 439 Posted March 8, 2021 This arrived today A vintage Grasshopper in good condition with full electronics, two DT-03s (one with a Savöx servo) and a new unbuilt Kyosho Sand Master ez all for a very very very reasonable price! I'm especially interested in the Kyosho Eleck Peanuts This guy isn't in the best of shape, but as far as I've found out so far it was produced in 1978! I'm sure it will be fun finding out more about this buggy and maybe even getting it back to running condition! Btw, if anyone knows more about it, please feel free to educate me 😁
nel33 870 Posted March 8, 2021 im fairly strong in resisting new RC kits at this point but i still have this weakness... the current slash body is still in great condition, the new one only cost $81, better than buying a new kit...
Mechanic AH 581 Posted March 9, 2021 I just got this candle today. Quite an odd purchase when I could've spent the money on a part or tool. I live in a building in the city, and lately, when I'm working on RCs I smell recreational stuff. Quite potent and I think the neighbor is going all out on it especially this past weekend. I don't mind their business but I can smell it and can't focus. Hopefully, this thing works. 1

Badcrumble 4203 Posted March 9, 2021 A rare trip to the office yielded two RCMart deliveries The motor was for my Outlaw crawler project until it was (rightly) pointed out to me that it probably wasn’t a good idea to have it in an exposed position. So I have earmarked it for my SCX10iii. The 934 bits will go with the body in the loft until I have trialled my paint scheme on my DevHack Mini and got a few more bits for the chassis in which it will reside. I haven’t retrieved the box yet but there’s an M02 in the post room too..

jonboy1 2943 Posted March 10, 2021 A couple of parts from Canada that I ordered on the 14th December! They actually gave me a refund through ebay as they were assumed to be lost, so I really should send the refund back.
simalarion 2196 Posted March 10, 2021 @Truck Norris I would like to buy a box wrench for wheels on kits but are they not 4mmn, what is your 7mm for?. the litle wrench that always comes in the box have its charm but since i plan to stay in the hobby i should upgrade as it is not the best to use. Anyone know all the sizes in the standard Tamiya kit wrench?, one off them must be 4 mm

Just saw on the pictures of the screw driver that Tamiya supplies a PH2 bit for JIS screws. I'm a little bit confused now as most people are recommended to buy JIS screw drivers. Is there a difference between those or are they almost similar?
barneys66 128 Posted March 10, 2021 My own personal Holy Grail - an original SWB M38 box, have been after one for a couple of years now, and another SS from the same vendor to complete my box-to-car collection:

The Hex you would want is also 1.5mm (motor pinion) and 2.5mm for axel. 1.5mm hex is impossible to find but strange enough 2mm is out there, which i do not ser much use off in kits (for Tamiya craftool pro). Well only thougt i should buy the same as chuck here, will not use more space in this thread, sorry

So when writing 7mm that must be the diameter off wrench itself and not screw D.. just to be sure to throw some confusion out there . edit: but i will place same order as Chuck, thanks for confirming and again im sorry to use space in post

I find that's all that's needed for modern chassis. The multi tool that comes with most kits is great, I use them all the time.
