Either are nice but I just don't dig the blue wheels.

Arguably 1 of the 2 most beautiful cars ever created, the other being the 250gto.  I’m looking forward to seeing your car completed.

I wasn’t aware until recently that chain drive was a thing and then was very disappointed that Tamiya never made one (I’m Tamiya through and through - makes no sense I know but that’s how it is) so that left only one real choice.. and now I feel dirty

Looking forward to a different type of build though and I’m sure she’ll be a great runner.

Not sure where she’ll go when not in use.. perhaps behind a plant pot or something to hide my shame

The time you build it, just like any of the Legendary series, you'll be considering moving your Tamiya cars behind plant pots, and just keep this one on front. Very nice build. :-D

At first step of the build, you'll have to choose between chain and belt... I chose belt when I built mine, and I'm considering an Optima for the chain build (yes, once you have a Javelin, you have to have an Optima and a Turbo Optima :-D - and yes, all Kyosho legendary series are nice build, and not that expensive if you consider they are current technology ready (battery, brushless ready))

A great looking body. Is that the 225mm wheelbase model from Landl?

I honestly can't tell the difference between the two models on their website but assumed the 210mm version might be a little 'squashed'.

As the body includes the chrome fenders / bumpers I would opt for the Camel livery (but both are nice).

225mm version made by Team C. Thanks for the feedback on livery!

Thanks for clarifying, it looks like Landl distribute the Team C bodies (amongst others) over here in the UK. That explains their on / off availability!

Camel without a doubt, it is like sticking two fingers (or one depending on your part of the world) up at the ciggy advert ban.

A M-02 with a strange body and some standard 1/10 wheels on it. It for my Ford Escort project. Unfortunately the battery holders are missing, but it was a very reasonable price.

How right you both are! Amazing build. Such a well thought out and study buggy. Some of the hex heads were a little shallow and the supplied allen key wasn't great, but other than that the build is phenominal. I still wish it was a Tamiya though :D

And I messed up on screwing in the marker plate to the roll cage.. used the wrong screw and messed up the threads

But yeah, anyone without an Optima/Javelin/etc def. buy one!

The thing that amazed me the most was when I run it for the fist time: it was the first time I get a newly built car running straight without having to touch the trims (and it's perfectly symmetrical direction, and none of my Tamiya car is)...

Nice! Just don't look at it sideways or the plastic will split. Just trying to think if I have some spare battery holders? Just think shipping from the other side of the world might be prohibitive... 🤔 plus we are in lockdown 🤦‍♂️
