(I do also have an original bruiser) Technically the postie never dropped this off because I bought it from a little shop when I went for a day out to the coast but the postie will be dropping stuff through my door when I buy the parts to transform it! I had no intention of buying another bruiser or even another clone (hg-p407) but this was just a ridiculously cheap price I definitely couldn't ignore! I got it from a little novelty shop that you get on the seaside that sells everything and nothing special it was sitting behind the counter it was his last one of 6 that he had the box was slightly damaged and no instructions (but I had instructions from my other clone (not that I need them) so he without me asking give me a discount because of damage so I got it for £170!!! Which started off with the "Nice of both package to arrive together", followed by "I do not remember two orders that are due to arrive at this time...?" and "Silly me not to plan my purchase to save on paying twice on postage". All is revealed when I opened the box, and the thoughts became "What is this? Why are there two sets of the same thing? What is going on here???". The receipts confirm my fear, I had ordered the same thing twice! What an idiot! Anyway, here are the stuff. I now have two twin motor gearboxes and two pairs of Torque Tuned 2 motors, plus an unneeded Fire Dragon. Anyone interested in them in the UK (I remember some members into Mini 4WDs?), I am happy to sell at the published price plus RM postage. Anyway here is what happened. I added the Fire Dragon (left) to the basket, but left it there to build up the basket to build up more items to prevent paying twice on postage (as anyone should do when shopping on 1999 or PJ). Sometime down the line, the Fire Dragon became sold out and I thought to myself, "better grab the body and I still can build up one using parts from another kit and/or spares", hanse the Saint Dragon, clear Fire Dragon body and VS chassis set on the right. I needed the double gearbox for a separate project. Also, I put the Holiday Buggy on hold, so should not need the 380ST motor at this point. Somehow the first basket got checked out, I definitely cannot remember doing this though!!! In fact the Fire Dragon kit could have became sold out because of me! So I ended up with a bunch of unnecessary items, paid 2000+yen in postage and to make it worse, 1999 had a sale a week after I bought these, where I ordered wheels, tyres, rollers and even more motors to go with the chassis. This will teach me not to buy from HK if they are available locally. Ordered on 27/7 and the seller only posted it on 20/8. Then DHL took its own sweet time to get it to me, particularly the plane landed in UK on 2/9 but the package only "arrived" on 7/9?!?! And then another 8 days to finally arrived in my hands. It will be far quicker to stick a 2nd class stamp on it and tossing it into a mail box! cambragol 152 Posted September 17, 2021 Got these old tires in the mail today. In good condition. They are 'Trail Masters', and have nice big letters with raised edges, perfect for painting. I know this is not the most attractive motor (ESC included) for such a special car, but my track and open space at home is tiny so going to run this and place a BZ motor next to the car while on display.
