A mix of parts for Mini 4WD, SW-01 and SU-01.

spacer.png

A 370 Torque Tuned to replace the Sports Tuned in my SU-01, which I swapped ST and TT between it and a SW-01 as the ST was too powerful and made the SW-01 impossible to control. The ST then proceed to tear the drivetrain apart in the SU-01, which I then stole parts out of the SW-01 to fix leading to the need to purchase additional parts to fix the SW-01.

Parts needed for the me to finish my Mini 4WD Dragon family.

Which are built with mix and match parts.

Nothing exciting, but my usual Mr.SuperClear matte finish, 1060, and styrene dowels thanks to @toyolien’s recent custom interior photo where I got the idea of how to properly glue flat pieces together in various angles for maximum rigidity.

I won’t be making interiors, but will help make cleaner brackets for future one off cars where it could be more visible from the outside.

These finally turned up. Ordered them from Amain via ebay in August. They spent nearly a month in Tokyo, that I thought it might be drop ship, but they are in the Tamiya USA packaging 🤷

Feels worse because my mod Clod had a broken axle for over a month prior. Old plastic...

Received my sticker package from MCI.

My custom Hornet stickers aren't as good as my last set - my fault as I chose the colourway and I got it slightly wrong. The sizing might be right this time so maybe third time lucky?

Got the Summit sticker set for my TXT-2 and Clodbuster stickers for my Mini Monster - hoping they are the right size!

Received this package from Hong Kong based Asiatees today, I'm really impressed with the fast and affordable shipping they offer. Ordered 3rd of October, it was scheduled for delivery on Friday but was delayed until today. If it was RCMart I would have had to wait 2-3 weeks more and paid 3 times as much in shipping cost.

Where did you get the big bore springs from? And did you pay billions or a reasonable amount?

I can't find them anywhere for anything near RRP.

I found this nice lady during my holiday trip for a good price. My first vintage car , everything are in good condition, no cracking or broken parts.

Now its time to go shopping for parts and paint !

That's totally SWEET!

The best looking Tamiya buggy from the late 80's.  Congrats!

I got the rear set from Plaza Japan, front 4Wd set from eBay.

The  front 2Wd set from 1001hobbies. They are really scarce and I was lucky to find them. They were £10.99 and shipping was £1.49 as I ordered some other bits too. They seem to be listed at £14.99 now. Go go go!

They make canned bread, so it wouldn't surprise me if they did!

not RC related but im sure i will try to figure out how to upload pics with it that arent bigger than225mb... got 1/3 iphone 4 cases in today of the Wagnaria Working! anime. the phone itself has no case but a leather Roots phone case. there is no service on the phone atm as my flip phone is still working/active but when the flip gets to glitchy i will migrate to the 4. a hard plastic cover is a bit easier to hold onto than slippery glass surface...

i also got a confirmation the brushless ESC and motor combo i want is available from LHS and it will be ordered.

I love mine, had them a year or two, money well spent! I just recently got the 5.5mm and 7.0mm drivers, I highly recommend them also 👍

My first order from Tamico. No tracking and took a while to get here, but good packing. Would've ordered more if I wasn't spending money on m-chassis stuff elsewhere 😄
