Each one was in an individual quality envelope and each pair were in a further hard backed envelope. Those in turn were inside a bigger hard back envelope. This kind of care transfers to the quality of the product. The guy that produced them is rightly proud of his handiwork. Nice. I've had the Wild Willy one for a while, and it's very durable. I'm really pleased with it.

Thanks for the tip on the hubs. I had a brief look at them when I ordered the bits that arrived with the car and the other order and decided not to buy them at that stage. I was more likely to run stock, at least at the rear, so your info only helps to confirm that. Cheers! And I certainly am a sucker for carbon, be it practical or just for show. The thing is, I just completed this yesterday and did not experiment with it too much yet. The new ball position may actually work if the top are adjusted "inwards". I have them on the outermost position (as per instructions) at the moment. Do drop me a line if using those ball shafts with a different top position works. I too want that carbon damper stay (at least for the rear) but my usual supplier does not have it in stock. Also, do they work on their own or is 54326 required? Boomerang89 30 Posted January 12, 2022 Not so nice as the great Laguna above, Still happy to find a Keen Hawk in the mail already some weeks ago. Only last days could look at it. Some issues. Front drives miss some metal and gear cover does't make contact with motor plate.
Boomerang89 30 Posted January 12, 2022 on a postive note. Sport Tuned Included😀. Just wondering. Just remove the front dog-bones and use it as a RWD? Why that plastic part is between motor and motor plate again?
ImALlama 1370 Posted January 13, 2022 My birthday gift to myself arrived along with a receiver and cheap servo been too busy to have fun so everything just keeps getting piled up in the corner, hoping to build it this weekend though
futureworks 864 Posted January 13, 2022 Just got this: a heavily hopped up TA04 chassis, built but never used, just dirty from storage. Has the TA04 special dampers, Super stock type T, alu diff, pulleys, and steering set, and lots more including some aftermarket alu front and rear hubs and knuckles. Tyres are perished and wheels are non-tamiya I think. Best thing - it was cheap!

GeeWings 2830 Posted January 14, 2022 @simalarion sorry to hear that, hope you recover quickly. This wasn’t quite from the postman but from my wife as she kept hearing me cursing every time I used the cheapo craft knife I got from Amazon. I think she also felt bad about all the DIY I’ve had to do this week when I had planned some decent build time 😥😆
msgimartin 508 Posted January 14, 2022 A DT-03 and TD4. The TD4 is going to have to wait until the backordered hopups come in. Hoping to get into the DT-03 this weekend.
alvinlwh 5895 Posted January 14, 2022 Another attempt at brushless after the disappointment of the first one. Hopefully this one will be as good as the brushless fanboys said they will be. Orion Vortex dDrive 2700kv, ESC built into the motor.
futureworks 864 Posted January 14, 2022 Despite buying from all over the globe for many years, my first ever order arrived today from Plaza Japan - thought I’d give them a go as some parts plus the postage seems super cheap. Ordered 4 Jan, arrived here in the UK today, 14th. Can’t be bad!

Lee1075 282 Posted January 15, 2022 First few parts have arrived for the TA03R chassis that i got off eBay a few days ago. I am not going to add hop ups to it, but build a RC car that many of us UK folks would have seen in the 70´s, 80´s and early 90´s. White Lexan paint for the shell, that has yet to arrive. The correct BBS? wheels that need repainting silver. A Trumpeter engraving tool for my plastic models and some 400 CST shock oil. Note the star shape in the middle of those alloys. A circle cutter for wheel arches etc A very rare 1/87 metal lorry from the company i work for. The livery was only used in Holland for 1 year, shortly after we got renamed from WLS to Havi.
