New black molded wheels with fresh new tires mounted for my SuperAstute.   :D

Since my black painted wheels turned out okay, will keep this set as spare.

Got my MF01x today. Not certain yet but I think I will be using the chassis to create a Nissan King Cab homage (shamelessly stolen from @Nikko85 and @OoALEJOoO after I shamelessly fell in love with theirs ;)

What are your options?

Cheers guys. It was just on eBay @matissemate, £170ish shipped from Japan to my door and no customs charges, I thought that was a pretty decent score all things considered:) I can PM you a link if you're interested... you'd better sell that DT-02 first though!;):D

Thanks bud, that's really good to hear that it's such a good runner. I'm going stock with a few upgrades (big bore shocks maybe?) and this will be a runner for sure.

Please bud, if only so I can test my will power……

And the DT02…. Tell me about it.

@Kol__ after you posted I had a look and about NZD330 to my door.  Gutted.  I have just bought a Novafox for roughly that and while normally I'd just get the DB01 and ask forgiveness later, I just heard from the gearbox shop and we completely destroyed that box (he sounded a bit disgusted and a bit impressed when we spoke) so its not that straightforward (and possible spendy) and my new nitro engine isn't cheap (I could refer to it as 2 DB01's now though so thats a win) but if I had seen those a couple of weeks ago I'd have a Durga in my cupboard *cough*hidden away*cough* and not a Novafox.

Hopefully they are still there next month, its my birthday next month....

Here's my next build but its going to have to join the back of the line the optima mid is first (its jumped the queue) then I've got a rebuild and a finish off before this little beauty! And more importantly it's my first adventure into on road/pan cars I haven't looked through it but does it need any bearing or are they provided?

Futaba 6 channel stick radio for £63 with free p&p from Slough Radio control models. It is set up for a/craft so I will have to change the ratchet over to give me spring loaded throttle. Instructions included. I bought it as it has a fully proportional channel 6 knob which I will use for gear changing. Though not a computer model it also has channel mixing. Comes with receiver and extras aren’t too expensive. 88A87288-25F3-4C8A-B6AC-F3AC0D905CC5.jpg
also received a Phat bodies Lotus  Exige bodyshell. I’ve been looking for a good looking 210mm rwd body for an M06 and this fits the bill for me. Either BRG with yellow stripe or graphite and black matt finish???

sorry not easy taking pictures of unpainted bodies!!! 3C3D5EB8-A5A0-4B14-80CF-3680F4D17F5C.jpg

I love seeing unique body shells. Here’s some inspiration. The black & gold is pretty sharp…

I think it was the late great Rick Mayall that used to refer to a "Razzle pair of jugs" and as an Aussie this was very funny once I eventually worked out what Razzle was !  :)

Nice , unusually for me the Green and yellow is really hitting the spot.

@Busdriver I suspect will steer to the black and gold having just done a very nice green and yellow TD 👌

Also white, black , silver and gold trimline not forgetting the red paint I just used for the Protoform!!! Decisions decisions 🤔 Also tempted to do a matt finish.  Need to do a bit of GOM building before I start on it😀

Incredible level of detail.   I will take individual pictures when I get to each of the parts to prep and paint them.

Absolutely excited!! B)
