The "Postman Brought Me" Thread

@moffmanglad to hear. Looks like I chose the right tool! Pretty impressed with the amount of accessories it came with too.

Does anyone have the Dremel gas soldering iron?

Oh glass soldering iron? Never seen that one? Mind you I'm in the "can't solder to save my life club" and I'm the founder member! So my first priority is to actually be able to solder properly:rolleyes:

Like  most things nowadays it gets very varying reviews. It serves a few purposes though and does seem pretty useful.

I have the dremel for soldering thick wires for that it is perfect, with a normal solder iron it is a pain to solder thick battery wires with the dremel an easy job.

And sometimes I use it to heat metal parts that use treadlock to loosen them.

That looks awesome, using a flame instead of an electrically heated tip?

Can it also be used for this?...

This arrived today, unfortunately I don't have a place to build it or the time at the moment so on the pile it goes... :(

These things are addictive but that’s it, no more GF-01’s. Honest.

Not RC, but I kind of liked this thing since introduction so got one.  This is my first Mini-yonku I've ever bought with those guide wheels on the corners..

Will build it as per instruction and display it in my pretend RC shop.  :D

Some hop-up parts (hard propeller shaft, torque tuned motor, full ball bearings, aluminum hex wheel adapter,…) and additional parts (set of slick tires + Rallye block tires) are also included.

And an original MSC with the plastic cover.

Perfect precondition for a shelf queen 😊

More cars instead of finishing current projects 🙈

My next runner only!

Classic Tamiya's are my thing, but I needed something that I can do relaxing runs with.
I specifically looked for DT-02's or DT-03's because they are said to be very stable and durable.
After seeing that the Sand Viper is completely ball raced and comes with oil filled shocks, the decision was made.

I'm so happy because it's sold out in most of the shops here.
Maybe I'll take it with me on my summer vacation and build it as a "holiday project".

But first I want to finish my (lovely looking) Novafox without stress.

Nice one mate. I believe you also get metal drive shafts and out drives with that kit, an upgrade over other DT-02's that come with the plastic sets. The DF-02 UJ's fit too, if you fancy a further upgradeB)

@silvertriple is to blame/thank for todays arrival as he taught me that a Coors longest name shares a lot of parts with the Ninja and Shogun I'm restoring.
Since it's NIB I'm half tempted to build it as it is after seeing it's presentation in the box. But a stock car or what it's called is not for me. So I'd have to find another body for it.
