Great bit of kit. Simple and elegant fix to a very old problem. Can’t think why Mr T didn’t do it!!!

I saw this for cheap so I bought it, was in mood for doing something different after building multiple buggies anyway. But not a TT-02 since I already have one and this one is perfect since I'm a fan of Team Kunimitsu Raybrig livery (my TT-02 was the 2014 Raybrig NSX). It's cheap because as you can see the box is pretty beat up, but the content inside is alright. Plenty of bonuses primarily LED unit which I'm excited to build. Another bonus is blue metallic plated wheel set which I'm not really into the look but I'll take any spares. And finally an ESC, but it's TEU-104BK

But one thing that surprised me the most is that the stickers are pre-cut. I'm confused, why don't they do that in other releases including newer ones?

Just got these Kyosho Le Mans 240Gold 13.5T brushless motors in the mail from Banzai Hobby in Japan.  I have spent way too much money with them this year on hop up Kyosho parts.

No. I believe they're 26mm and I'm going to keep my fingers crossed

If they really don't fit, those wheels will gain the cut slicks that came with the TT02S kit. I'll report back in due course.

At first glance, they seem to fit ok, but they're so soft I think they'd get ripped off running them on grass anyway. Glue may be the order of the day regardless.

Temp sensors for my Passport P2 for even safer charging.  :D

I never know when I could get a call from work during WFH and need to leave my pretend RC shop briefly to look at something on my work computer..

Nice choice. I'm just waiting on a TT-02 SR to build up as a road rally car.

Are you going to do a build thread??

I've wondered this a bit since seeing the TT02 SR and TB05 Pro at the same shop for the same price. What made you choose the TT02 over the TB05?

I'm not familiar with the TB05 at all. I already have a TT02 so have a fair few spares etc. Plus, I may be the only one, but, I really like the TT02. Especially the Type S and SR. And lastly, spares for the TT02 are probably more readily available.

A random collection of bits arrived today! Wheelie bar for a soon to happen build, screw for my Wild Willy GF01 build and a pair of side cutters as my current pair are so bad you would think they are made of plastic 😂

They are absolutely beautiful but are very expensive! Suppose you pay for quality I'd have to put them in a rear mounted gearbox so you could see it in all its splendour I've got a le mans brushed motor in my Optima mid but you can't hardly see it:mellow:

the most tightly packed GF-01 arrived today…

I said I wasn’t going to get any more (several times). But this was such a bargain it would have been rude not to ;)
