Now all I need to start this build is... the right state of mind

Nice!  I placed orders for mine today as well.  :D   Not that it seemed the car needed it for my driving condition..  It’s got a slight push-under so I might just run the rears.

Hope you get around to building yours soon!   B)

On the right hand side (Wild Dagger twin speed controller) from the postman, on the left hand side (original King Cab speed controller) from a good friend.

The best of both will become the speed controller for my Monster Racer.

For me, servo wire crimping tool dedicated to my pretend RC shop, and dusting brush for Willy’s garage.  :D

TRF511 body just showed up,’ I won’t use it until my driving proficiency improves greatly!

Received this last Weekend but haven't had the chance to post until today. Kudos to Tower Hobbies on the packaging and fast shipping-only took 3-days to get from Illinois to Florida via their free option! Forgot how huge these suckers are. I feel sorry for the delivery driver who had to lug this onto my porch... my security cameras caught her struggle.

For the past 30 years I've only built kits for the joy of the build experience. It was either build and sell or build and gift to somebody. This will be the first kit since my teens that I'm building for myself to drive. Got some vintage ESP metal to install off of my long gone, original 80's Clod. BTW... the color scheme is fantastic. I was bummed for missing the Black edition release, but not anymore.

One of two items has arrived to start documenting detailed runtime information with rc outings.

The seasons changing quickly here to dark and wet but it would be fun just like real rally do flat over crest speed runs in all conditions and document. Snow, dirt, asphalt 😃

Got this in the mailbox today. When I accidentally saw it up on fleabay I just couldn't resist.

It's just so... tiny, and detailed, and cute 😍

Now the sudden realization: I should have bought two.

That’s awesome, @Ferruz!  :D

For me some cheapo steel pinions to trial gearing on my Optima MID.  (32 to 35 I think it was)

I ordered aluminum ones now that I know which pinion  to get for my car (35 teeth).  :D

It's actually quite good.  I tried it the other day and was able to dust Willy's garage accessories without breaking anything nor inducing any scratch.  It is much gentler than a boar's hair brush.. maybe compareable to a super soft fan paint brush.

My wife bought one too for her miniatures collection she has in her manga library after checking out mine.  B)

Bought an old nib M02 kit off ebay - the tyre foams look a little bit "dry". Think they might be salvagable.....

A new project started with arrival of a few parts today. This is not a complete car, but those parts are in very good condition (basically new) and did not cost a lot, so it was a no brainer...

Hirobo 44B chassis parts... I know already the rear end part is like the Zerda and the missing front part is symmetrical. And I have what is required to model already some of the missing parts with the Zerda. Will be missing other things in this, but that's already more than what I expected for the price I paid :-D

Oh yeah, I had that happen to me too on the foam inserts in my M01 NIB.

More Optima MID stuff for #2.

A bit TA02'd out at the moment having built four this year so fancied something a bit different.
