Been away from RC for a week or so, concentrating on 1:1 instead :D

Not much through the letter box either - a pair of front gearbox outdrives for the Vajra and a delrin centre gear for the Optima Mid (nice guy in singapore is making these, top top quality and only $12 delivered !).

Another 511 Upgrade Set... because you can't get the parts individually (yet anyway). So €110 for a few belts and pulleys... At least I have some spares now.

That is a sweet kit for the original or re-re. Have enough detailings, except for the lights, to make it special compare to the other of the same series.

Something different for me.

Always wanted a nice boat and when this popped up on the for sale thread on tech for $150 posted I had to get it. Came with all electrics.

This boat looks fast even on the stand.

Twin water cooled brushless motors with twin water cooled ESC's to handle 2 3S batteries for a total of 21.2 volts up it. Beautiful fiberglass hull and alloy hardware too. This is my attack weapon to race Mario & Mr XW's awesome Traxxas Spartan.

I hope to run this on Sat against the speed demons at the Triple S boat club next door to our vintage track. Our days are getting big. Boondal is awesome place.

Very nice bit of Kit . Be careful how you balance and trim it though as it makes all the differance when racing . Not always the fastest boat that wins but the one that turns fastest ;)

*Helimax 1sq

*Two 55t motors for my trucks (one has silvercan one has worn 55t something)

*Alloy servo bracket for my Man TGX as the shift servo moves side to side something chronic.

Anyone else had shift servo problems with their tamiya cabover?

hi Berman . Have you seen the rc4wd reduction gear box's ? GRU's . They bolt directly to the end of the motor can and drop the speed by ratio's of 2:1 > 4:1 depending on the unit you buy . They add loads of torque into the deal . IMO their perfect for running trucks at scale speeds .

No I havent, will head over for a look now. Although since I have already bought the motors I will fit them, but will take note for future, cheers for the heads up! :)

The postman brought me of what i thought would be another TA04 that i bought 2nd hand for revision or spare parts, i wasn't sure yet BUT when it arrived, i was delighted!!!

Here is why:

1368038140NIMG_20130508_00516.jpg

- It had the front and rear alu suspension blocks (53609/53610) that i have been searching for for many many months!

- It had the front one-way diff, but the one-piece blue TRF414M version (53612)!

- Front/rear SSG Damper stays (Have the rear, wanted the front that never bought as it doesnt work with the carbon adapter damper stay for the body posts)

- Reversible light-weight suspension set (not sure if i will put it on my TA04 yet)

And last but not least....

The TA04 ALU motor heatsink blue (49199)!!!

Talking about a steal as i paid only 40 Euros for the car! :D
