Some (4) new 39T ball diff pulleys for my 511. Eagle Racing seem to be the only company in the whole-wide-world that makes and sells these as separate parts, Tamiya do not. They're used on the TA06 too so it's quite odd that you have to buy a whole diff kit to get a spare pulley.

Anyway, these look fine so will build one later.

Brand new (assembled) DB01 ball diff plus cover, adjusters, bearings and shims - UK £20 including shipping from Florida to the UK which took 8 days in total and didn't get hit by customs :)

I'll swap out the steel balls for ceramic and this will make a perfect spare diff for my DB01R.

The shop I bought it from have another two of these for sale (brand new) if anyone needs a spare diff for their DB01..?

Haven't done anything with my RCs over the winter really, but just recently started tinkering again... scored this off ebay today and picked it up:

blitzergcs26.jpg

Vintage Blitzer Beetle with 3 motors (stock, 17t and I think an 8t), 2 ESCs, radio, 3 sets of wheels and enough spares to build a complete second car.

The built car has been a bit modified with some aluminium parts. I will rebuild it and clean it up a bit since I don't like some of the parts...

Looking at it i would keep the alloy parts . Body mounts , links and that front bumper are all well worth having . in fact their essential hop ups if you deside to use that 8t . Very nice score .

Yes, I will probably keep those. But there are a few other fabricated parts I don't like that are not really visible on the picture, that look like they weren't produced with the greatest care. Many of the alum parts were actually fabricated by the previous owner. I'll decide as I go on. First taking it apart and having a look at everything.

Been having a few weeks away from RC, but in a push to finish the Vajra a set of yeah racing anodized front hubs arrived this week - just need to paint and decal the body now :D

A shiny new Canon S110 digital camera to replace my shiny old S90 which was the best camera I've ever used. It's meant to be a worthy upgrade, let's hope so!

Glad you managed to get the centre gear - wasn'r sure how manyt he guy had commissioned. Look to be a nice bit of engineering but still not progressed my Optima builds in the last month or so (i seem to be collecting cars faster than the parts to fix them lol)

Yeah not sure he has any left, I just noticed that the txt prompt changed delrin to delving lol

Just had to get these two. They will be built within the next month or so. I'm finding I have too many projects, which I guess is not a bad thing. :P

It will be interesting to see just how they compare side to side as both builds and runners . Old school V New .

I must be the only person around who isn't a Clod Buster fan. I had one of the original ones back in the day and recall it being slow and ill handling. Needed an 8.4v to properly motivate it, but that didn't fit inside... seem to recall wedging it into the rollbar in the bed somehow. The 4ws was gimmicky and not terribly effective, and I recall spending more time driving it around on top of the water in my pool, since the giant tires kept it afloat easily.

And I might have talked myself into buying a new one just to see how good or bad my memory is... hmm.. <_<

If the TXT-2 handles like the old one, it'll murder the Clod.

You're not the only one but also I don't hate them at all. I just don't get the top heavy 'monster truck' thing.

But equally now that somebody has them I'm looking forward to a side-by-side comparison of the respective builds.

Both will be built using 4ws. I'll run 2 servos on each. The Clod will stay mostly stock and the Agrios will have a brushless in it. I love the scaleness of these two versus Traxxas, AE, or TT monster trucks. I want to build a Monster Jam like course for videos.

I'd love to read about and see your build experience of each... I don't know much about them and it would be good to see a thread on yours... hint, hint... ;)

How reinforced is the chassis area on the new Clod where the steering servo(s)? go? The original only had one servo iirc, and I want to say that we ended up using some aluminum to brace the area on ours back then..

I will do build threads for both. Not sure how soon as I just started a Bruiser build. As far as the chassis area, not worried as my Clod will run dual CPE servo mounts on the axles.

I got this via UPS a couple days ago.
