The "Postman Brought Me" Thread

Recommended Posts

Feeling very pleased with myself today!

My Dremel and extras arrived today, I'm dangerously close to actually doing some thing useful with my Tamiya stash.

I also got myself a free chair from work for my desk/work bench and its now all set up in my garage.

I just need a T.V and a kettle and I could move there permanently.

Postman didnt bring it but i went to pick it up at the seller: Carbon upper and lower from a Top Force Evo in very good condition and extremely low price to "enrich" my Top Force! :D

Very nice Top Force parts indeed!

My own haul was less superb, but still very welcome - an MTroniks Sport 20 ESC and a Spektrum SR301 receiver:

I have never heard of the SR301 - initially I had purchased an SR300; the two are the same performance-wise - but it is apparently 'water-resistant'... Hopefully it can survive without additional aids in my Lancia.

The SR301 is splash-proof - I use one in my rally car and several in my buggies - but I wouldn't give it a good dunking. Rather get a fully waterproof SR300WP if you anticipate getting it thoroughly wet.

Thank you for the clarification - once I get the electronics finalized I will probably put it in a balloon.

Today I received some extra lights and some F103 gears - the latter were installed today in my GT-One.

All of my Fox's have just arrived today.

Hope to run one tomorrow.

I have always loved the Fox since i first saw one at the hobby shop and was way too expensive for me back when I was 14.

I've got to say Heng Long have made some great improvements over the years. 2 boxes of detail parts... yes that's right, no more hideous moulded on tools! Not had a chance to open this tank yet but my brothers hadn't been attacked by the hot glue fairy (anyone that's opened a HL Tiger 1 knows how annoying they are) and an accurate body shape. It's as though Heng Long keep an eye on internet forums and listen to what their customers actually want... Tamiya please take notes! Just waiting on my 17 pounder barrel from Singapore and I can get going with the Firefly build!

This particular delivery kept me very busy this afternoon, and resulted in my first LED-equipped car.
