They're fronts, going to put them on resto and poss use the originals on the hybrid. But I do have some other cunning plans. One thing that I have to think about Is that the RF has hexes on the back

I am also on the hunt for rears for the resto though. There were two pairs on eBay only a little while ago for £17 iirc. Wished I'd got them now, DOH!

Today, the postman brought me some old decals from my local SRB club master:

I saw some nice ones in there; those Leyton House decals may make it onto my next non-box-art project. Thank you, Steve!

Some batteries - two, to be exact - also arrived (one is pictured):

And a new monocoque chassis for my Tamtech BMW GTP also arrived, replacing the previous one I had which had broken its rear suspension mounts. My car is now a runner again, and does it ever run!

It is truly amazing to think that 1:10 scale RC car technology was fitted into that 1:24 scale package - even the battery is the same voltage!

Thanks mate. Quite elusive these rims. They pop up from time to time, sometimes quite cheap. And now off to the post office

Got these 2 bad boys in the post today. They fit ORV chassis with a 30 second mod to the battery stop, they'll also fit TL-01 & Twin Detonator/Blackfoot 3/etc... with a little bit of Dremelling/filing.

Well the postman bought me a new starter kit my my Savage X and my nephew is coming over on Thursday evening for a boys R.C night, which will be great.

I reckon we will get the Savage all back together ready for some outing to the local woods very soon.

Most importantly I celebrating not having bought any R/C models for 2 months..as I'm currently in detox!

I was thinking the same , But i have not got my Stella order yet ( as i payed for slow postage , as i was away )

& didn't think it would have taken this long .
