I'm starting to think I have a serious problem Percymon, I've just bought my 4th 45ltr box to store all the bits I've bought for my kits and I still haven't built one yet! 2 more parcels to arrive yet and then that's it for a while. Although one of them has be evading me for some time so can't wait to receive it.

This sweet ride arrived from Germany today. Have all the parts to restore it except for the front diff. Anyone knows where to find one?

Some Tamiya Polycarb cleaner to remove mistakes (nothing else works!) and two replacement drive belts for my Porsche RSR 30th Anniversary - these are getting pretty rare as they are not a standard size.

Newbie got a bargain.

Postie delivered my latest ebay purchase this morning.

I've got a Lunchbox

The chassis and running gear have already put together and has been fully ball raced. Also fitted are a RS-540 Sport Tuned Motor and TEU-101BK speed controller. It has 75mm Ansmann shocks all round and has the 3rd shock mod already done, last but not least it has alloy body mounts and the tyres have Proline PL6194 foam inserts.

The body is untouched and everything needed to complete the build is also included.

Happy days :)

Cost less than a new one from modelsport.

Sounds like you got a good buy there Nump.T

Today I got a set of 54000 M chassis aluminium dampers from Banzai

Can't fault the packaging, the outer box could have easily contained 20 sets, sadly only the one -_-

Seems i'm getting the larger parcels through from Japan this week, whereas smaller packages (sent days before by same air mail) are yet to arrive.

Thanks Percymon I think I was lucky.

I have heard a lot about Banzai but haven't been brave enough to try them yet. Are they any good?

You'll not beat them on price, but you have to weigh up the shipping and any possibly import duty/handling charges.

A set of M chassis shocks for £25 ($40.01) delivered when UK sellers want £70 can't be too bad though ;)

There's a separate thread on the forum - their customer service isn't 100% at present as they still seem to be catching up with orders placed during Xmas holidays

The Gmade shocks are really nice, they are smooth in operation, look and feel quality. Maybe not TRF quality but at £10 each they are very good. I just put a set of 95mm piggybacks on my CPE CF Clod.

After no packages on Tuesday, I have been receiving a stream of mail. Today, four bags/parcels arrived containing the following:

CAM00515.jpg

We have here:

- three HPI SF-10W servos - one for a Striker; another for an Audi Quattro, and another for stock

- a Tamiya Frog, etc. driver figure - the right arm is cracked, but I will not be using the bust anyways

- an Atomik 15d Modified brushed motor - the hottest motor I have ever owned (very excited!)

- an unopened set of Lancia Rally wheels - I now have four new tires and wheels to go with them!

The servos will be used as described. They are issued without horns, so I will figure out which servo saver type they fit.

I bought the driver figure for the head, as I will transplant it onto the Bigwig/Fox driver bust. But then do I put the driver in my Audi Quattro, or my Astute? The Quattro still needs a driver, and I think my Astute could benefit from one, too...

The wheels almost seem a shame to use once those on my Lancia runner go, but that is for a while yet.

I am wondering about the Atomik motor, though, as my Avante's 25T motor has given up, but is not equipped to handle 15T. However, my Astute is, and I even have a TTC gearbox lying around... Do I swap ESCs or motors? I will ask myself a few times! It was mostly purchased for its low price - even lower than that for the 23T Super Stock RZ I purchased for my Striker/Lancia Rally/Avante.

Either way, the motor has all my attention - it looks so 'trick,' with its massive heatsink and all that!
