The DS stuff is a steal although honestly i would strip it completely to use it as Box-art for my restoration project. Do i see it right though that they have opened up the front window?

no the window is still there. what they have done is went to far with the paint so to hide the areas that have paint they have used a chrome decal to cover it, the centre is just clear plastic.

i planned on stripping it to, but the pictures dont do it justice. not exactly to my taste though but its better than the rough one its replacing.

That's just pure filth right there. Great job getting that little lot for under a rennet! That'll look awesome when fitted :)

Just a CPR unit today. I now own two of these. One will probably go into a period runner and the other will be in a shelfer. I've never actually used one of these before.

Awesome catch!...I love these. My vintage Avante runner is equipped with cpr 160F and it is lovely when runs. It will give you a smooth vintage ride. U gonna love it!

I hope so. I'm a little bit worried about the auto braking, if that applies to the 100F. I know the 160f does it, and some just can't get on with it. It'll be interesting to find out exactly how it handles.

True, but I am used to it and doesn't annoy me..try it and you might be happy with it...yes, the 100F has the Auto brake.

I hope you tip your postie well at Christmas.

He's getting nothing this year, current one won't leave signed for packets in a designated secure place so I'm back to collecting from the depot 1-2 days after - not too bad when there are a few to collect but frustrating when the day after collecting one packet you get another red card.

Easy solution though - stop buying

my postie is well trained and he is also a neighbour. he signs for things for me then waits till he see's the car is in then pops them down. costs me a bottle of whiskey a year :D

My regular Postie is great leaving large packages in special places ;) we had a replacement one whilst our regular one was on holiday and he was totally opposite leaving red cards without even knocking on the door. I can't work that one out as the more they can deliver the less they have to carry???:blink::blink:

wood5tock, if you met my old postie you would know some of them are very "special" people.

he would never look you in the face and he would only whisper.

Maybe he realised you have a formidable Tamiya arsenal whilst he only had friend who had a picture of a Tyco Jet Hopper...
