A mate of mine told me about an old Beatties hold all he had in the loft and said I could have it if ever he found it. He dug it out and sent it to me. I don't know how old it is or how common they are but does anyone else have one? My local Beatties closed many years ago so I guess it's fairly old?

I've got one of these, this is one of the best looking bags IMO.

My guess was early 90's. £15-£20 on the bay posted. Not rare but less of them come up for sale than the yellow/black or blue/white combos.

Be careful when buying these as apparently there are some repro's about . If it looks too clean and new chances are its a copy .

Best of luck with the Striker!

Some 730 and 850 flanged ball bearings arrived, so I finally put my Audi Quattro's gearbox on them. What a difference it makes!

Unbelievably, a new set of wheels arrived for my Striker, too. I never thought I would find one still being sold as stock by a hobby shop...

My Tamiya Front K Block Tyres arrived, meaning I could crack on with stripping the old worn tyres of the DF03 wheels and fit the new tyres. Hopefully go out with my Vantage and Madcap tomorrow with my 7 month old son to watch for fun :)

:)

I've been looking at these from Banzai Hobby and was wandering what's the differences between the 'K' and 'C' versions. Are the 'C'versions worth the extra money.

Competition and Kit versions I believe

So if you run on or near any tarmac or concrete surfaces then expect the C labelled ones to be toast after one pack - unless you are racing go for the K version, even then i suspect their life expectancy is limited on tarmac; they are designed for dirt after all ;)

For general fun and running no not worth the extra, although at Banzai prices possibly. At UK prices, def not. The K's are great on grass and damp grass as well as tarmac. Plus their wear rate is fantastic on tarmac even with a 5.5R brushless system. :)

I'm absolutely astonished this didn't get hit by HMRC, a 6Kg parcel from the US ! Not complaining though ;)

Many many thanks to speedy for acting as proxy buyer - you are an absolute star Paul.

Started on my 2014 kit collection. I almost bought a Delta back in 2004. A decent EVO1, not a shonky import from Japan was about £8,000. I drove a couple, didn't like them and bought an Impreza (It was my 2nd, a WRC Type RA Limited). Lost a bundle on the Impreza and even the naff JDM import Lancia's have at least doubled in value.

They did! I could hardly believe it; it almost seemed like a scam, so unlikely was the prospect of finding them there...

This handset comes recommend in R.C racer I'll be really interested to know you get on with it.

Reading that review, is what inspired me to buy it.

I have bound it to 2 of my cars tonight, and all I can say is, it feels quality for the money.

The range looks good.

BUT, the manual is rubbish, a little bit of knowledge soon had it bound though.
