Some Dark Impact B parts. After assembling some more of the car yesterday, I noticed the front skid plate had a small crack at one of the steering post mounting points, and the steering posts weren't firm in their place, so that was another excuse to buy fresh plastic. It also means I can replace the shock towers too, even though the original items aren't too bad looking.

I also got a box of Boomerang spares from Percymon :)

After restoring a Boomer some time ago, I had various parts leftover, such as a chassis, drive shaft and various other gubbins

So I figured if I put my parts with Percymon's, i'll almost have enough to build another car - one which I can run. I still need a few bits, like dogbones and a body, of course, but I'm pretty much good to go!

Thanks for the parts, Percymon.

A WW2 shell so I can chop out the seat and put it in my existing WW2 shell and the front section of a Traxxas something or other so I can try and convert my Mad Bull into a double wishbone thing. I should start project threads for these two things as I'm busy working on them now......

XV Pilot, I've got an m03 to put it on. I think it's going to end up metallic red with black fender flares. The instructions show some optional plastic parts, like wipers and a muffler, but I have a feeling they're pretty rare. It's a really nice body with a lot of detail parts. It's got light buckets for the head and tail lights, so I want to put lights in it. Can't wait to paint it up!

Installed in my DF01, it has allowed me to confirm two things: the stock propshaft is fine for now, but the stock steering rack isn't! I see an aluminium ballraced one in my future...

Looks a decent bit of kit. Let us know your thought when you've tries it out. Would be interesting how it compares to the etronix pro steering set as this set is over £20 cheaper than the etronix version that I currently use.
