My youngest daughter got this on the mail today. She was really so happy opening the box, caught it on video.

Looks a decent bit of kit. Let us know your thought when you've tries it out. Would be interesting how it compares to the etronix pro steering set as this set is over £20 cheaper than the etronix version that I currently use.

Steve.

Hi Steve.

Unfortunately it's going to be some time before I get round to using this as my current RC project is only halfway completed and I am having an op on my ankle next week which will put me out of action for at least 4 weeks.

It is very comfortable in the hand though and all the buttons are easily accessible. I got this after reading a review of it in one of the RC magazines

Since purchasing this though I have found out that it is basicaly a Flysky GT3C but in a different shell.

Today I got a Hobbywing Quicrun 1060 ESC and an RZ stock motor. Yesterday I got some Madcap decals and instructions. I think some of the decals are heading for my DT03 since it has a red and white paint job like the Madcap.

Today I received some alloy hexes and anodised wheel nuts for my Manta Ray, along with a slip saying that a parcel awaits me at to Post Office. I guess that'll be the wheels and tyres then...

I have a hobbywing quicrun 1060 esc fitted in my df-03ms with a 15 turn motor and no issues so far.

I have been wanting one of these for ages! Very few decent examples ever become available in New Zealand. This Madcap is in really good nick apart from a broken suspension tower (need a replacement if anyone as a spare they want to sell me) and the very bald tires (still cant decide what to put on as the original madcap tires are like hens teeth) There is almost not dirt on this car and by the state of the tires I'm guessing it has spent most of its running time on pavement. Will strip and clean and replace what ever needs replacing. Will have to wait though, I've got a Boomerang to finish first.

I am really honest. Of course this is after she has been driving the boomerang and db01. Now she wants another one.

Finally managed to obtain a set of original Fox decals for a decent price in the current crazy market. Now all I need is a Novafox kit to accompany them.

Postie redeamed himself for his lack of any delivery yesterday , with this lot..

Torque tuned motor

Sport tuned motors

Blitzer front tyres

2 sets of mini CVA shocks

Molybdenum grease

Urethane bushings

Tamiya masking tapes. (6,10,40mm)

Multiple packs of tapping screws, washers and O-rings

Pity they're not the hotshot front arms I could do with for the weekend lol :-(

Two packs of these

3mm thread and 4mm socket. Ideal for older buggies from Tamiya that use the white connector on the 2mm threaded rod, typically on the steering - Madcap, Bear Hawk, Hornet F1 - anything that uses the small nylon steering knuckles. With these you are able to use 3mm threaded rod or turnbuckles, but keep the original steering components like bellcranks, etc

And since you can use 3mm rod, you can also use 5mm or 6mm adjusters if required.
