Just received a TRF101W from Stella. Once again, great shipping and quick. Glad I picked out up as I had missed out on the TRF101 originally.

A pack of 25 500ml plastic containers of the type usually associated with the local Chinese takeaway:

They are to be used as car stands, to keep the wheels from touching the shelf and deforming the tyres while on display. Neat and unobtrusive, they should look better than the motley selection of boxes, spraycan lids and other odd items I am using at the moment!

This should be a fun project. My Sherman will finally have an opponent. One that severely outclasses it no less.

ps. Haven't been here in quite some time, sad to see that I haven't really missed an big re-re announcements :(

I'm also very happy, I got these 1st Edition Ranger rims and tyres, NOS.

The right early deep dish front rims for my small front arch Ranger.

The sprue says '1981'.

I've decided I would prefer to have 5 models that are just right, in preference to 25 that aren't quite right, I'm sure this makes sense to lots of you.

Complete new bodyset with antennas ;)

Also got the camber issue fixed and rear window template done (used original body as a guide and fit it over the new one)

Didn't see the SC, saw the Mountaineer. Already did up a bruiser as soon as they hit, so I'm not sure I need a Mounty.

On the other hand, I *need* a BigWig and 959 re-re! ;)

Not exactly today but in the last two days I got a very rare in great condition Radio Control Guide Book with the Brabham BT50 on cover page together with a 1982 Catalogue. I always loved and love to read in these old books. Also an extremely rare nib Honda Formula 2 gearbox and two sets of original vintage Tyrrell P34 rear wheels with tyresand a nib 936/Countach gear case with motor set.
