I have *got* to get around to finishing my Hilux. It's been half assembled for a year now.

The thought of painting made me sandbag the project... :(

Yeah, new builds in "The Builds" require checking before they appear, just TC trying to keep it all on track

Today - nothing. However last night as we were getting ready for bed, who should come knocking but the Hermes lady, with a nice big box containing my wife's Kamtec Bowler Wildcat shell!

Wheelbase is an ideal fit for her TL01 chassis, but it is quite a bit wider, so we have ordered some 9mm offset wheels to make up the extra width. Hopefully they will do the trick!

Some TA03 goodies from Jason's Store :D

Now I have enough bits to build an entirely new chassis from the disgarded upgraded parts! That's justification enough I think. Not sure how I'm going to slip this one last the Mrs, or that Pajero when it turns up....

Ooo, post up some pics when you've got it on the chassis XV. I've been missing my CC01 Wildcat since I sold it and was thinking to get another body for a TL01 and do a bit of fast rally driving. Did you go for the lexan or hard plastic one?

We went for the lexan one, as the car is destined to be a runner and we wanted something that could be painted from the inside and be quite scratch-resistant. We'll still be adding a few scale details though, so it should look good too.

We'll certainly upload some pics as the project progresses.

I was the postman. I went and PU the F1 Pro Black by Tamiya along with some electronic bits. I am already looking at any F1 kit. Found room for the Pro, but not sure any more room for another. If i do get the other F1, it will be my last kit. Unless the blazer is re release. Honest.

Tons of wee paints and spray as well as a Striker. Too many projects at the moment so it'll have to wait a week

Be sure to post up that Striker - whether you restore, run, anything really - when you have the chance! ;)

Today I received a couple of basic Tamiya servo savers. Nothing major, but a common component that's always needed, and I had run out!
