Just do what I did when I got my Leopard tank,

"Yes love, I'm sure I deleted that from the order before I clicked buy"

Seems like several members went to the same coffee shop and logged on the same computer used the same mouse. Your mrs. will now know you were not making it up on how you end up with a dozen of each.

Well one of them will be used on it, but you can't have too many in your spares can you! I see a lot of articulated driver heads in my future :D

The Postman brought me this old guide book. I think this one came out before the the one that has the Avanté on the front cover. Oddly enough this issue has an action shot of the Super Shot, but doesn't have it's info page. My collection of guide books started with the issue that first shows the Egress. 1990 I think.

I also got some pink lightweight wheels just in case I decide to get creative and have a need for them. Buy them now before they cost a small fortune like orange star dish wheels.

Nice little haul there, gotta love a vintage guide book, I know you can read them online but you can't replace a genuine copy! ;)

Normally they have a silly Buy it Now price on Ebay, but this one had a 99p start and no reserve. It didn't rouse much interest, so I watched it till the end and put in my highest bid at the last moment.

Like I said, my guide book collecting started in 1990, and the first couple I owned were good. But after the introduction of touring cars, the guide books began to get boring. There's nothing wrong with touring cars, but another 50 Nissan Skyline body shells on a TL01 chassis didn't make good viewing for me.

This is what happens after a head on collision with a concrete bollard at 6s speed

The concrete bollard was fine

My Asiatees order arrived today, surprisingly rapidly too!

Three pairs of GPM alloy DT02/DT03/TT02B dogbones. They certainly are sturdy!

And a pair of GPM alloy CC01 front upper shock mounts. I have alloy rear ones already fitted, but Fusion Hobbies didn't have the fronts in silver.

What a dog bond? ;)

Either a mortgage-type bank loan that you take out to pay for a really expensive dog, a really strong friendship between a man and his dog, a glue joint used to assemble a dog that comes in kit form, or a misprint on a GPM dogbone package. :D

Only the greatest relationship between man and a domesticated animal! Or, you know, one of those things where a dog holds your money and then returns it after several years with interest...

Still waiting on that light kit... The seller had to issue me a full refund, so I wonder if I will ever see it.
