A new HPI .21 engine and a tuned pipe from the hpi trophy buggy 3.5

Was a fair price on ebay

Think I will build up a 2nd trf801xt and fit the hpi engine,

will build it up over xmas, as I want to tinker a little with nitro

Quite pixelated on anything with a corner, I would say "good for runner", I am reluctant to put them on anything shelf worthy.

Useless bit of info, but apparently it is *****'s machine but with his nephew doing the cutting, or so I've read.

Ok so the actual postman just bought me a couple of seemingly inocent boxes from Germay...

1 x Tamico

1 x Seidel

Can only mean one thing.... a Swag load of parts!!

Here's a pic of one set in particular, Yeah racing shock set for TT02. I have to say these are really nice parts. Titanium coated shafts etc and a lot of spares in the box. Pretty good deal for 26 euro - it's no wonder Tamico keep selling out.

Got the dreaded ParcelFarce ransom note

Must be my Kyosho HOR Honda NSR500! Not bad for PF, they've only had the package in the UK for 6 days and finally got around to charging me for the privilege.

According to them I owe £18.64 in Import VAT and £13.50 clearance fee. I guess I can't argue the clearance fee although nothing says what exactly that's for, but the VAT should be 20% of the value yes?

Considering that I paid £77.17 via PayPal (which includes the postage cost and PayPal fees), where did they get £18.64 from?

20% of 77.17 is 15.43 in my book?

Ho hum, I'll collect it tomorrow before they start cutting bits off and sending them with anymore threats

FYI : If you're importing from Japan and the tracking website states your parcel is in UK customs under "Retention", get ready for the letter
