More parts for my sons DT-02 racer. One order outstanding. Should be soon since it was placed just a few days after this one. ;)

Delivered by its original owner yesterday was this mint condition 58260 Mercedes DTM - complete with original box, manual, all the spare screws and even the left over paint tins! Really pleased with this find - it has no scratches at all underneath the chassis either! :)

Received some stuff from Decal Design in the Uk.

Handwritten on the invoice some excuses for the delay (not to much but thanks anyway) and an extra sheet due to some "marks" on one of the other.

This are the things that make me a little more confident about the future of this crappy world.

Finding a strange attraction to vintage Schumachers...(fuzzy ebay picture)

Cougar 2000 with a Losi Hydradrive system - apparently. Sounds cool...

Going to do a full resto job when time and funds permit. Already started getting bits and pieces together.

May do a build/rebuild thread for it as I haven't done one yet...

Some goodies for my Cougar rebuild have started arriving...

Tracked down most transmission parts, so just waiting for them to come in.

I fear this may get expensive...

Arrived yesterday was another Tamiya Porsche 911 GT1 from ebay. Once opened the body is a bit rough but salvageable for a runner. The chassis TA03RS has the frp conversion set(brand new with not a single mark on the chassis plates), ball diffs front and rear, alloy front c hubs, front universal shafts, fluorescent stabilizers set, Ta03 super low friction dampers, alloy pulleys and a few other bits and bobs as well as the original short chassis tub too :) Not bad for £50. Being honest I actually only bought it for the wing mirrors, as my shelf 911 GT1 was missing them. Lol, but seeing the hopups on this one in the blurry picture made me buy it.

Not sure what to do with the chassis etc now though ??

These are great looking cars, I've no idea what they are like to run or maintain though, I had a couple which got passed on, the wheels seemed a bit delicate.

Funny the mirror thing as well! I bought a complete Blazing Blazer body for just the back lights ; )

Steve U30 did the Lancia body swap which came out really well and could be worth considering for the chassis.

A Tamiya cutting board I ordered a month back finally got here to the US East Coast from Japan, along with two sets of four tire inserts. Started work on the Super HotShot.

Yay! The remainder of the hop ups for my sons DT-02 racer finally arrived from Japan along with replacement servo savers and the A sprue for the Grasshopper. I had to repair the right side A arm after he collided with something at the park. I never saw an A arm break like this before!

Please tell me I'm not the only one that is bothered by this lower case P in the thread title. I'm not, am I?

No leave it as it is. It's wrong, but it's fine :)

In other news, an old TT01 job lot arrived yesterday. It had been crashed, the owner bought new replacement parts, started taking it apart but never bothered fixing it, all the new parts are still on the tree!

Got this little delivery today. A sheet of 2mm thick aluminium and some oil filled shocks. 75mm for the front and 95mm for the rear. I'm making some larger shock towers and fitting some decent dampers to my hornet bodied TL01B. Can't wait to get these things on. :)
