These are the last few parts I've been waiting for before starting my TL-01LA build. Was chuffed to see the chassis is the newer version with the cut out under the servo to stop stones getting stuck between the chassis and servo itself.

I've not used this aluminium tape on any of my shells before but thought I may give it a try as it was incredibly cheap from Banzai.

The aluminium tape is great - I use it as a second measure for fixing light buckets, since it can be moulded into shape. It's incredibly strong too.

I am gathering parts for a TL01 build too - but was unable to find anywhere with the LA arms kit in stock. I'm assuming you started with a TL01LA in the first place?

Sweet, I was wondering if someone else was going to get one of these. The only other CC-01 I have is modded to fit a blackfoot body on, and I really liked the low ride one at the toy show, so I did mine like it.

Nope, I started with this-

A kind of TL-01/TL-01B hybrid with various parts in the wrong place! As it turns out the only parts I'm actually using are most of the gearbox internals and the prop shaft, everything else is new! Had planned a quick restoration but decided I might as well do it properly. I got lucky with the LA arms, I bought them from a chap on facebook for next to nothing.

I got 3 TRF hex drivers, 2 tubes of cera grease, and the shock shafts for my sons DT-02 racer. I think I'll be able to finish his car this weekend.

Got the delivery notice yesterday that my bits and bobs arrived at my office. Went today and there were my WW wheel inserts, some half decent tires and foams, som 2.8 duratrax banditos, and the most amazing time saving tamiya tool kit ever....cutting small jobs, down to nothing....

Paid the £75 ransom to Parcel Force & today received 2 x 56523 MFU sets for my 1/14 trucks.

Ordered from Banzai - arrived in UK within 2 days but held up in customs for almost a week.

Still worked out cheaper than buying from anywhere else I could find that actually had any in stock.

I have been keeping my eyes peeled for a monster beetle for a while now. Is it just me or have prices gone crazy lately? I ended up buying a blackfoot which should arrive in the next few days hopefully.
