Some cute little mesh wheels for my upcoming M06 Eunos Roadster project. The closest thing I could get to the old BBS wheels on my 1:1 car.

I've now got the paint and the wheels for this project. Pretty vague starting point huh?!

Totally normal behavior :D

... Box 3 has nothing to do with R/C. An X-acto set so I can try to open up my iPod classic 120GB and replace the battery and screen. Wish me luck!

I wouldn't use Xacto knives on an iPod. Dangerous to both you and the iPod.

Get an "iPod repair kit" from ebay or DX. They're dirt cheap and come with safe plastic tools for opening the case.

If this is your first time, it might be a good idea to get two kits as the tools can break pretty easily.

Not actually the postman, brought it myself through Europe..;)

All parts to build a genuine TRF411X and also a lof 211X parts. Took me almost 15 years to make it happen..

That's an awesome birthday gift! And an awesome wife! I've got a 201 and I love it, they are a fantastic buggy, I'd be keen to see a build thread also :-)

I'm definitely going to do a build thread. Since you have one, just promise me you'll correct any mistakes I make during it. ;)

I bought 3 sets of those jobbers, and all 6 snapped while my iPod just laughed completely unfazed by my efforts to crack it open. I found a YouTube video demostrating a putty knife method and one with the X-Acto knife method. I have to be honest, I'm a little scared to try the X-Acto knife way since I'm rather fond of my fingers! :o

This one is on my wish list. Will you do a build thread on it perhaps?

Well then.

They did the trick for me, along with the elbow grease and ungentlemanly language.

Yeah, I'm actually thinking about making a proper build thread. Still missing some minor hardware (a few titanium screws, ball bearings etc). When everything is sorted I'll start it :)

You couldn't get M-chassis BBS wheels? I'm sure I've seen some... Maybe not in black though...

Dorvack.

Well if you can find them I will buy them! I was surprised that I couldn't find any specific bbs style m-chassis sized wheels, this is as close as I could get. They will end up silver too, after a coat of paint. So if they're out there and already silver please be my guest and find them!

Great! looking forward to it :) You will enjoy it as I found it one of the more challenging builds but very satisfying. I actually had two at one stage (much to my wife's disgust!) and completely stripped both, put all the best parts into one and sold the other (which was still pretty awesome!) Not sure I will be much help as I still feel like a newbie when I come on to TC and always learn new things from the many amazing members :D

I had a Storm when I was a kid and thought it was awesome so when I seen this I thought I'd go for it. I found the chassis to be a great performer at the time and I liked the alloy chassis.

Schumacher Club 10, seems in decent condition. Rebuild, new shell and tyres and that should do.

Also came with what looks like the remains of a madcap. I think its too far gone though with no gearbox and a cracked chassis.

I love the Club10, It was my first competitive racing buggy and was amazing value at the time. I won quite a few races with it :P Worst thing was when I left home and went traveling I kept all my RC stuff at my parents, came home got married had children etc etc. My parents were moving and said to come and grab all my "junk" anyway long story short my father had thrown out all of my RC gear!! He said "I thought you had grown out of playing with toys and it wasn't worth anything as it was so old" As you could guess I wasn't happy  In total I lost a Club10, TA-02 escort, TA-02 Lancia Delta, FF-01 Volvo 850 and a Madcap plus all my spares and chargers etc.

Sorry about my long winded story but seeing that Club10 brought the memory's flooding back

2 Traxxas servos, front SRB bumper, springs and suspension bushings, Drive shaft boot for a Old Frog chassis, a set of vintage SRB wheels, and some Hornet parts, battery cover side rails suspension mounts and body mount. 2cb58e162d82622746210ddfb8ba427e.jpgcan't rebuild the SRB completely due to the fact my sealed bearings won't get here for another day or so same for the Hornet... guess I should have ordered them all at once...

Thanks to a tip-off from a TC member on my project thread I found these Eunos Roadster stickers and masking sheet for a rude £7.00 posted!

Lexan parts for my Astute

I need a suggestion: for undertray and windows I'm thinking about smocked black (for windows second possibility with black stickers).

The rest of the body and wing will have to be RED. But, instead of the PS2 red, which other "red alternative"?

PS34 Bright Red and yes to the smoke under tray, will look awesome !

Back with white before you use smoke on windows or it will darken up the red.

i got a box of goodies from Crawford Performance Engineering yesterday - a GMC grille, GMC tailgate insert and two sets of the Planetary Hubs for my Clod and Super Clod

Well, I won't get home for a few hours, but my wife just told me my package from Banzai arrived already. I asked her if it was smoking slightly, since it got here so fast... :D
