Saw the VW on the homepage, looks smart. I wonder whether that front bumper style is available separately?

The other concern being that it is pretty widely acknowledged just how easy it is to roll a regular WT01 - how will this cope in cornering?!

First bumper on EBay is mine.......

I'm a bit concerned about how exposed the suspension arms will be though, my current bumper has visible signs of being put to good use...

WR-01 one is not huge though.

And a set of multispoke wheels that were so cheap at Banzai that I had to buy them!

Given the near ubiquity of SCTs at the race tracks around here, and how pessimistic many of the tracks are about getting enough 2WD buggies to show up to make a class I ordered this up partly as "insurance". By that I mean if we show up to a track and my son can't race his Desert Gator because he's the only 2WD buggy we have a fall back position. I also wanted a "loaner" car for when we go to the track on practice days we have something a buddy of his can run to join in on the fun. We haven't run it yet. All I've done is water break-in the motor and add adhesive foam donuts to the body holes. I'll need to change over the Tamiya connector on the ESC to a Deans as well.

And a Kyosho Ultima SC6 for yourself?

Dorvack.

I need to get my TRF 201X built before I get any more cars for myself. Plus, my daughters birthday is in two days and she's getting a Pink Neo Scorcher. We'll build that together so I reckon I have my hands full for a while. If this SCT goes over well, I might get my son a "proper" race SCT for his birthday in June.

How much pre-building have you done on the Pink Neo? Hope the birthday build goes well! :)

I've been away for a few days and I've come back to 3 small deliveries.

12 black alloy wheel nuts.

Crimping tool-TWINSET recommendation.

Window hinges for my M38-Dojo Dave, thanks buddy.

Very happy, a small amount of money well spent imo!

I'm trying to finish/enjoy/make the most of what I have instead of constantly buying more cars and projects that need time and money I don't have. It's tough love, but I'm sort of getting there : )

^ Hopefully nothing twin-engined, as the Sport Tuned motors spin at a different speed forward to backward don't they?

I have ear-marked my electronics in anticipation of my Jimny build. Yup, the one we aren't likely to see until late June / early July!

Hobbywing 1060 ESC

HK3100 Receiver

Blue Bird BMS-631 servo

un-decided on motor yet, I might put something with high-turns in it for a more scale speed...

Today was a big day for the postman and me. All the rest of the parts for my TRF 201X build arrived along with a shock building stand (inspired by Nobbi1977) and a low voltage alarm which will find a home in my sons Desert Gator for the races this weekend. We're making the move to LiPo for racing but the TBLE-02S ESC doesn't have a low voltage cutoff. A major oversight by Tamiya IMHO.

Was on holiday for a few weeks but got a few treats waiting for me. Thanks to JimGTR for the Madcap :)

The Ligier was a bargain. Didn't expect a box or the spare body, seems decent

Got a bit of a backlog now. Couple of madcaps, a Club10 and the Ligier. I need to stop buying for a while!

I think I have more than I need now :-)

I did a count up the other day when someone notified the forum they were back in stock. Turns out I already had 4 spares, so I held back on ordering any more - for now!

I just put one in a model and counted boxes and that will be enough for the current wait list. Need less temptation or more space.
